This is the latest information on the Rum Creek Fire and evacuation notices. We do not know if Bear Camp Road is closed yet, but as the fire progresses upstream we guess that there will be a closer. Please check before traveling to Agness.


CURRENT EVACUATION NOTIFICATIONS IN JOSEPHINE COUNTY AS OF 12:20 AM, 27 August.

Level 3 - GO NOW evacuation from North of Belknap Gulch, Little Stratton Creek. South of Angora Road, Lower Grave Creek Road. East of the Rogue River. West of Tom East Creek, Hog Creek Road, Hog Creek.

Level 3 - GO NOW evacuation from South and West of the Rogue River and North of Bear Camp Road; includes Rand, Galice, and Galice Creek Road.

Level 2 - BE SET to evacuate from North of Galice Road and the Rogue River, South of Lower Grave Creek Road, East of the Rogue River and Taylor Creek, West of Hog Creek Road.

Level 1 - BE READY notice for: North and West of Brimstone, South of Lower Grave Creek Road, East of Lower Grave Creek Road and Angora Road.

Level 1 - BE READY notice for: South and West of the Rogue River and North of Bear Camp Road; includes Rand, Galice, and Galice Creek Road.

RESOURCES: As numerous evacuation notifications have been sent out over the last 24 hours, it is important to familiarize yourself with what each level means and how to find up to date information.

If there is a fire of concern in Josephine County that has evacuation notices, you can type in your address to find if it affects you. KNOW YOUR LEVEL: The state of Oregon has three designated evacuation levels: Level 1 - BE READY, Level 2 - BE SET, and Level 3- GO.
