It was so much fun celebrating Coach Jeremy and his wife Maddy at the Rogue X today. We cannot wait to meet our littlest Rogue Rapid when she arrives in June!

TYR PRO SERIES - SACRAMENTO

Eleanor Geraghty represented the Rogue Rapids, racing pros, Olympians, and NCAA stars at this fun, fast meet.

Highlights for Eleanor:
💥 PRs in all 5 events
💥 Made finals in 4 out of 5 events
💥 Qualified for Summer Junior Nationals in 2 events
💥 Her 50-meter butterfly time (27.35) is the 17th fastest time in the world so far this year among 18&under girls. (This is to the best of our knowledge - international times are always being updated!)

Thank you to all of the Rogue Rapids swimmers and families for watching and cheering from home (and the pool deck at practice!) on and the Network. We have the BEST team.

SPRING SPRINT MEET.

What a fun intrasquad meet today at the Rogue X Naversen Competition Pool. Congrats to all of the athletes, especially our many first-meet swimmers! We are grateful for all of the swimmers, coaches, parents, family members, volunteers, and officials who made the meet possible for the kids.

SPORTS NUTRITION DAY.

Today our swimmers and families had the opportunity to learn from sports nutrition guru and ultramarathon runner Annie Behrend, RD.

Premium performance requires premium fuel – and plenty of it, properly timed. Thank you for sharing your expertise, Annie!

RAPIDS AT REGIONALS. 

There were phenomenal races, best times, and fun times at Northwest Age Group Regionals. We are very proud of all of our swimmers! Some highlights: 

James made finals in 5 events and dropped 9.5 seconds in his 500 free.

Naiya made all best times and placed top 5 in 4 events.

Brienne made finals in 5 events, and had 2 podium finishes!

Chuma is an amazing competitor who had two podium finishes!

Hazel raced a full lineup of 6 events at her first regionals. She took 12th in the 100 fly, 14th in the 50 free, and 15th in the 50 fly.  

In her first regional meet, Acacia dropped over 5 seconds in the 200 back and nearly 5 seconds in the 200 IM!  

Also competing at her first regionals, Adelaide dropped 1.86 seconds in the 50 free and 1.49 seconds in the 200 breast - and even made a best time in the 100 breast during her 200 breast. Two best times in one swim! 

One of the youngest competitors at this 1000+ swimmer meet, 9yo Fern bravely raced in the 10&under category in the 50 free, 50 fly, 100 fly, and 100 breast.

NAIYA & JAMES - REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Naiya for winning the 200 fly and James for winning the 200 back for the second year in a row at the Northwest Age Group Regional Championships. This meet had over 1000 of the fastest age group swimmers from at least 9 states and 79 teams. Naiya adds to the Rapids’ growing list of regional champions, along with James, Bri, Myles, and Eleanor.

SENIOR STATES STARS.

Daniel, Kai, Desmond, Frankie, and Erika swam great at the 2026 OSI Arena Region XII Short Course Championship. It was the first state meet for Kai, Frankie, and Desmond!

The boys competed in relays, and dropped over 3 seconds in the 200 free relay. They swam in breaststroke and free events, and Kai dropped nearly 12 seconds in his 2breast time trial. Erika swam out of her mind, hitting multiple PRs, making finals in all six of her events, and taking 8th place in the 50 breast (31.18).

Rogue Rapids Swim Team Makes Waves at Rogue X and Beyond A competitive Medford youth swim team based at Rogue X is making waves locally and beyond.

REGIONALS + SENIOR STATES. 

This is the Rogue Rapids’ largest-ever championship meet squad. This weekend, we have our last two stops on the champs meet tour: Northwest Age Group Regionals in Federal Way, WA, and Senior States in Beaverton, OR.

Race hard and have fun, Acacia, Fern, Hazel, Chuma, Adelaide, Naiya, Bri, James, Kai, Frankie, Desmond, Erika, and Daniel!
