The Rogue Valley Royals are excited to announce the signing of forward Braden Wood-Burns for the 2026–27 season!
The 2010 born, Fairbanks, Alaska native joins the Royals after playing with the Elmira Aviators 16U AAA program last season. Standing at 6’0” and 152 lbs, Braden is a young forward with size, upside, and plenty of potential as he continues developing his game at the junior level.
Braden brings a strong work ethic, a willingness to compete, and the drive to keep growing as a player. We’re excited to add another talented young Alaska product to the Royals family and can’t wait to see his development continue in Rogue Valley.

The 5’10”, 170-pound right wing from Fairbanks, Alaska joins the Royals for his junior hockey debut after finishing his time with his high school program. Andy brings leadership, work ethic, and the kind of character that fits exactly what we’re building in Rogue Valley.
As the final member of today's big signing announcement, the “Fairbanks Five,” Andy rounds out an exciting group of young Alaskan talent joining the Royals this season. His positive attitude, leadership qualities, and team-first mentality make him a huge addition to our locker room culture both on and off the ice.

The Rogue Valley Royals are excited to announce the signing of forward Boden Fullford for the 2026–27 season!
The 6’0”, 165-pound right wing from Fairbanks, Alaska joins the Royals after spending last season with the HCF Freeze 16U AA program and West Valley High School. Like fellow Alaska native Barrett Ricca, Boden is ready to make the jump to junior hockey and take the next step in his development.
Boden brings size, determination, and a strong drive to compete—and this season will make things even more special as he joins his older brother, returning Royals forward Max Fullford, in the junior hockey world. The Fullford boys will be our 4th set of brothers to wear the Royals uniform together, following the Ruettgers, Sekiguchi and Nelson brothers!

The Rogue Valley Royals are proud to announce the signing of forward Jordan Murray for the 2026–27 season!
The 2006-born center from Fairbanks, Alaska brings size, experience, and high-level junior hockey pedigree to Rogue Valley. Standing at 6’2” and 210 lbs, Jordan has competed across multiple levels of junior hockey, including time with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers and the Seattle Totems (USPHL), several NA3HL programs, and the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL.
Jordan’s combination of skill, physicality, and junior experience will be a massive addition to our forward group as we continue building a bigger, stronger, and more competitive roster for the season ahead.

The Rogue Valley Royals are excited to announce the return of forward Max Fullford for the 2026–27 season!
The 5’9”, 170-pound left wing out of Fairbanks, Alaska joined the Royals last season following a trade from the Seattle Totems—and wasted no time making an impact, scoring against his former team in his very first game with the Royals.
Max brings a relentless work ethic, positive attitude, and high-energy style of play every time he hits the ice. He’s the kind of player every team wants in their locker room, and we couldn’t be happier to have him back in Rogue Valley this season.

The Rogue Valley Royals are excited to announce the signing of forward James Dunigan for the 2026–27 season!
The 2008-born forward out of Las Vegas, Nevada joined the Royals late last season after being acquired from the Henderson Force (USPHL Premier), and we’re thrilled to officially have him back in Rogue Valley this year.
James is a young, hard-working player with a team-first mindset. He brings energy, compete, and a ton of potential to our forward group, making him a huge piece as we start building our roster for the season ahead.
We can’t wait to watch his game continue to grow in Royals colors.

HIRED: Steve Soto
The Rogue Valley Royals are proud to announce Steve Soto as the Head Coach for the 2026–2027 USPHL Premier season.
With more than 15 years of experience in coaching, player development, and junior hockey operations, Coach Soto brings an impressive resume and a proven track record of building competitive, player-focused programs. Throughout his career, he has coached at the AAA, Junior A, Tier II, Tier III, and ACHA levels, earning recognition for his leadership, recruiting, goaltender development, and commitment to advancing athletes to the next level.
Prior to joining the Royals, Soto served as Head Coach of the Bremerton Sockeyes (USPHL Premier), and spent nearly five seasons with the Ogden Mustangs organization at the NCDC and Premier levels. He currently also serves as owner and operator of the Casper Warbirds, continuing to oversee long-term player and organizational development within the NCDC Mountain Division.
Beyond the bench, Coach Soto is the founder of Hockey House LLC, a player development platform centered around strength and conditioning, nutrition education, and athlete advancement. His high-energy approach, strong hockey network, and passion for developing young athletes on and off the ice make him an outstanding addition to the Royals organization.
As the Royals enter a new era, we are excited for the leadership, culture, and competitiveness Coach Soto will bring to Rogue Valley.
