I am incredibly proud of our Spartans, the grit I saw from everyone at Shasta Boxing tournement in Redding California this weekend. All the dedication, hard work, 5am runs, to balancing school, work, and life. Tough fights on Saturday, but remember, we win as a team and we learn as a team. We had 4 wins that got belts and 3 losses and close fights.
Losses are just a different way of measuring our current skillset. We aren't going to waste this, we're going to use it to come back stronger Monday. Special thanks to Daniel, Shasta boxing for throwing a great show and inviting us to come to there tournement. Thanks to Crisol Valencia , Miguel Barker for cornering and helping with the fighters. Parents and teamates who came and supported.

Special thanks to Mickie Conley, Students, and parents who came and helped with Spartan boxing at the pear blossom parade. You all are the greatest!! Some didnt come cause the thought of rain, but Spartans train and love the rain. Got to learn to be versatile. 15 years of doing the pear blossom and we still moving foward with changing lives in a positive way, mentorship, and using boxing as a vehicle to open up young youth and adults inner potential.

It was in honor to do mitt work with Emiliano Flores at his school for his Talent show at Jefferson Elementery school. He is doing great in and out of the ring, and one of the hardest workers in the gym.
