Greetings to those who pass by my Tjays page. Tjays closed a couple years ago. I continue to teach privately in California. If you stopped by send me a message just to say hi!

This evening we will have our last classes at Tjay’s (regular class times). This change is not easy for anyone, but I am looking forward to new opportunities in the future. Those continuing with private lessons, I am excited to see you progress.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this program. I am forever grateful for the memories, growth, challenges, love, and family that were built over the last ten years.
I love you all and hope to stay connected. 😊

Thank you to all the Tjays family that participated in Tuesday’s class. I was very happy to see you all. I miss you all.
This may seem like the end but there are more possibilities on the horizon. Keep in touch with Ms. Dorman and with me.

It’s been about a year since I relocated to California. A year of huge changes.
At the end of this month Tjays Martial Art Training Academy in Medford will close. Ms. Dorman has been at the helm of Tjays for the past year. She has done a fantastic job holding the now downsized program together for this last year, I am grateful.
This is my nearly 41st year in the martial arts. I continue in my training and goals here in California. I’ve seen closing before and it’s not easy for myself and not for Ms. Dorman.
Her training continues and the next chapter I’m sure will be amazing.
To all current and former students you are loved and I pray you prosper and find great joy in your lives. My prayers are with you always. I never forget!

Master TJ Davis

As many of you know, Tjay’s has been through a lot of change in the last couple years. Some members have graciously stuck with us and helped us keep the doors open, and some have not.

Unfortunately, too many members have stopped paying, coming to class regularly, or both. We have consistently had problems with members honoring their agreement to pay monthly dues, regardless of absences, vacations, etc., and this has put us in the red on many occasions. It is not possible to sustain a business this way.

As a result, I am sad to say that after a great deal of thought, prayer, and consideration, Tjay’s will be closing at the end of September after 10 years.

I, like many of you, have found immeasurable value in the program Master Davis built. I am honored, and forever grateful to be a part of it.
I am also grateful for the opportunity to teach and train with all of you. I have gained even greater perspective of the sacrifice and dedication that has gone into Tjay’s. Thank you Master Davis, and thank you to all of those who have been involved. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. ❤️
