What an INCREDIBLE night of racing at T-Hills! First up was Kalia Troche with an amazing 3 second drop from prelims on her 400M IM with a time of 5:52..53! 👏🏼 50M Free was up next where things REALLY amped up and was exciting! Bailey Briggs secured a FIRST place win with a time of 29.35! 🤩 Emilie Alvarez had a great swim in finals for her 50 Free coming out with a 29.60 ✨ Jonah Wang was up next with his 50 Free-securing his First place win with a time of 27.08 😍 Eli Stebbins had an amazing 12th place finish with a time of 25.98. 🤩✨Ryder Statz secured an 8th place finish in his 50 Free with a time of 27.75. Our NWAG Regional Champion Blake Daniel in 100 breast fought hard for his race-making B finals and securing 15th with a time of 1:12.67.🤩 Our Backstroker Ryder Statz was up next with 100 Back-securing a 3rd place finish with a time of 1:08.59✨ Bailey Briggs was up again with her 200 Free- earning her a 4th place finish with a time of 2:19.79🥰 Asa Frisbee was up next with an outstanding 200 Free securing 2nd place with a time of 1:56.51. ✨🤩 Leilani Kamei had an amazing time drop in her 50 fly final, placing 4th at 30.54! 🎉🤩Jonah secured his 2nd 1st place win of the night with his 50 fly with a time of 29.44✨🤩 Our Girls and Boys ended the night with some great relays. Oregon State 12& Under Championship at Beaverton, Oregon.
Superior Aquatics swimming attended this Championship meet with a record number of swimmers.
Team swam absolutely wonderful, with ZERO DQ’s!
After very competitive preliminary session in the morning, only top 8 made into the finals in the afternoon.
Here are our finalists:
Amazing Zoe Du captured 4 medals in 200 and 50 back, 50 free and 50 fly, third in 100 back and 7th in 100 free.
Fantastic Liam Madsen finished 2nd in 50 fly, third in 50 free and 100 fly, 4th in 200 IM and 100 free.
Great Austin Dean took 7th in 100 Fly while A Time Machine Charlie Walker finished 3rd in 1500 freestyle, 8th in 100 free, 4th in 200 free and 7th in 50 free.
Famous Caius Young managed going into finals in 100 breaststroke and finished 8th. Elee Gregory had a fantastic 50 free gave her a great 6th place in finals.
Our 8 year old munchkins Clara and Miranda Walker girls swam outstanding.
Hope Gregory, Amelia Hayes, Mickinley and Reagan Jackson sisters, Olive Janbay, Carys Mehl and Sydney Ruthledge all swam fantastic races.
As a result Superior Aquatics proved that we were one of the best teams in the state and we have very strong young team coming up to secure a great future for our team.
I thank Coaches Alexandra, Coach Rob and Coach Kendell for their amazing hard work getting our kiddos ready for this meet.
Now we are ready for 13&Over Oregon State Championship next weekend again at Beaverton.

👟 COACH KENDEL IS AN INSPIRATION! 👟 Friday 6/19-Saturday 6/20, Coach Kendel took on the brutal Burney Mountain 100-mile ultra marathon. She left absolutely everything out on the trail, pushing through a tough foot injury to complete nearly 80 MILES! 🤯🔥That is the equivalent of over three full marathons back-to-back on rugged mountain terrain.If you see her walking a little slowly on the pool deck in Redding this weekend, give her a massive high-five (and maybe offer her a chair)! Thank you for leading by example and showing us what true grit, determination, and heart look like.We are so incredibly proud of you, Coach! Way to RUN! 🏊♀️🏃♀️💨
The Burney Mountain 100 is a rugged 100-mile endurance run in Northern California featuring 15,000 feet of elevation gain. Starting and ending at the Burney Mountain Guest Ranch, the looped course takes runners through Lassen National Forest, the Thousand Lakes Wilderness, and panoramic views of Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta.

🤩🤩🤩WOW!! What a meet we had in Albany, OR.! Out of 14 teams throughout Oregon and Washington, our boys team placed 4th and our girls team placed 3rd- all with ZERO DQ’s (disqualifications).
✨MANY new long course state times, a new team record, tied swims for four of our swimmers: Eli S. & Quin D. tied for 3rd place with a time of 27.42 in their 50m Free, while twins Clara & Miranda W. Tied for first place in their 50m Breaststroke with a time of 1:05.71, a plethora of sharpie tattoos and memories made! A special congratulations to our newest Superior Aquatics swimmer Sierra B., for competing in her very first swim meet- she SLAYED all of her events! WAY TO SWIM this weekend Superior, you made your coaches SO proud!
