BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position):

This position assists with the pro shop and golf course events.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote a professional property image for golfers, visitors and employees
• Greet golfers and visitors and answer questions about the course
• Perform cashier functions
• Assist with pro shop inventory of goods including ordering and cost of goods
• Perform maintenance on pro shop goods and other items
• Open and close the course as needed
• Assist with league play and other events as needed
• Other duties as assigned

AUTHORITY & RESTRICTIONS (supervisory capacity, signatory ability)

• This position has no supervisory responsibility.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):

• 12 months experience working in a hospitality business with customer service experience preferred
• 12 months cashiering experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of golf course equipment, tools and goods
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT (the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
