Francis CYO Basketball has provided a safe and fun learning environment for the youth of the parish for decades. The basketball program stresses, an "all are welcome" and "all play" philosophy. The league is made possible by a wide range of volunteers from scorekeepers, to coaches, to the referees and coordinators. The league hopes to foster a learning environment that focuses on Christian values through sportsmanship, teamwork and the fundamentals of basketball. While there is competition with winners and losers of games and a playoff round, the focus is for the girls to have fun and play in a safe environment. The in-house league runs from October - March on Sundays.
