🎣 Ready for the 2026 Fishing Season, A big thanks to our local Parks team for stopping by and dropping off 2026 fishing regulations, forms, and helpful resources for our customers. If you’re planning to fish this season, make sure you’re set up right from the start.

Get outside and fish at your Medina County parks this spring. This self-guided program is the perfect way to spend time with family and friends and can be completed at your convenience.

Participants who fish at five or more designated fishing areas between March 20 and June 20 and turn in their completed forms to the Oenslager Nature Center between June 21 and July 11, 2026 will receive an award (while supplies last). This program is open to all ages; one award per person.

Last night we completed a CPR/AED Training for a Scouting America troop, focused on getting their adult leaders ready to respond when it matters. Real skills, real confidence, and the kind of training you hope you never need but you’ll be grateful to have.

Proud of This Group 👏. This Hunter Education class brought great questions, strong participation, and a clear respect for the outdoors. They’ve officially passed — and we’re proud to have trained them.

Last night we wrapped up a First Aid class with a Scouting America Troop 501 of Medina, training adult leaders and one Scout working on their First Aid Merit Badge. 💪🩹 We covered the basics that matter when things go sideways: rapid response, smart decision-making, and how to stay calm when it counts. Good news: we’ll be posting our March First Aid training schedule soon, so keep an eye out and grab a spot when it drops.
