The Perry Rec Annual talent show is a tradition started in the early years of the Y running the program! Always the final activity of the final day of the final week, the kids practice throughout the week to perform in front of parents, and families!! Appreciate all the parents who came out! Top 5 listed in the final photo! Great job to all the talented kids who were brave enough to showcase their talent 🤩👏🏻🎉

Thursday morning our Rec Wide game was the Ultimate Challenge! A tournament style double elimination relay race that included a die roll, free throw shot, hockey shot, sack race, spoon and egg balancing walk, stilts, frisbee throws, co****le and untying a rope with 8 knots in it! As each team had a player complete a task they ran to the next spot to tag their teammate to complete the next task! First picture is the winning team 🥇🤩

Core Value Award winners for week 8!!!
Tomorrow before our talent show we will be awarding prizes to our top 3 core value award winners for the entire summer 🤩
This Friday the 23rd we will be staying in the Village Park for Rec!
Our annual Talent show will be at 3pm 😎🤩 parents and families are invited to watch the show!

Our Friday started with our combined programs splitting into 4 core value color groups that made a flag, song, chant and handshake! We then did activity rotations having to do with our Core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility!
Added last year we toss small bags of color powder all together after the color run is done!!! 🤩
