This weekend at Medina:

6/5 6-7:30 pm
Yin and journaling for the inner teenager with Lauren
This practice is a space to slow down and gently reconnect with the version of who you lived through during those years.

We will move through a grounding yin practice, allowing the body to soften and open in its own time. As layers settle, we will weave in quiet reflections inspired by the Gene Keys offering a lens for understanding emotional patterns with kindness and compassion.

Investment: $19 drop in or use your class pass! Sign up here https://momence.com/l/x9h6zxWz

6/6 11 am-1 pm Lift and Let Go with Brooke and Sam
We’ll begin with a 45-minute all-levels functional fitness class at BK Fitness to build strength, stability, and energy. Through intentional movement and breath, you’ll awaken your muscles and activate your inner fire.

Then, we’ll transition to Half Moon Yoga for a 60-minute foundational yoga class focused on deep stretching, mindful alignment, and breathwork to restore balance and calm the nervous system. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to refine your practice, this class will help you release tension, expand mobility, and reconnect to your inner strength.

This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to blend the intensity of fitness with the grounding energy of yoga - leaving you feeling strong, centered, and recharged from the inside out.

Every Spring, the tree in my front garden blooms with delicate white flowers. And as the season slowly turns toward Summer, those flowers transform to green leaves.

Each year, I notice myself wishing the blossoms would stay just a little longer. Wanting to hold onto their beauty before it changes into something else.

But this season, I realized something:
my longing for things to remain exactly as they are was pulling me away from the moment itself. Away from what was already here. Away from the beauty that would also eventually pass.

Not because there is anything wrong with the green leaves.
They are simply different.
And my mind had already decided what it preferred.

How often do we do this in our own lives?

We grip tightly to how we think things should be, and in doing so, we miss the lesson. We miss the moment. We resist the way life is trying to move through us.

I recently shared this in class:
our gripping creates our suffering.

We grip to joy because we know it is fleeting.
We grip to pain because it has woven itself into our identity, our story, sometimes even our sense of purpose.

But what if we allowed ourselves to truly meet life as it arrives?
To be with joy while it’s here.
To be with grief while it’s here.
To trust that every beautiful moment, every painful season, every opening and unraveling is simply passing through.

Nothing stays.
Not the blossoms.
Not the ache.
Not even the version of ourselves holding it all together.

And maybe the gift is not in learning how to hold on tighter ,
but in learning how to soften enough to fully witness what is here before it changes again.

Wishing you all a beautiful June!
Love Lauren and the team at HMY
