I made this video earlier today in response to a commenter that yelled at me to put my hair up in a workout video…

But then she dirty deleted her comment when she saw this response, so I’m just reposting it for the fun of it 🙃

ICYMI: My name is Sam, but my hair’s name is Leona. She has main character energy, and she does whatever she wants. It is her world, I am just living in it. She cannot be tamed because she is here to inspire your wild, fam. 🦁

…maybe try not yelling at strangers on the Internet though? There’s no need to be big mad about somebody else’s hair when there’s better things to be mad about. Like how no one listed in the Eps***** files has been arrested, we’re destroying our planet, and genoc*** is still a thing…? Or something.

A moment for client appreciation? 🥲

Because I am so so thankful to have clients that are such good humans that they eventually became such good friends.

Folks that are so good and sweet to me, and even to my family. Absolutely, yes, the folks that refer me to their own friends and family, hyping me up always, but even more than that—

Folks I see outside of the gym, or outside of the yoga studio. Folks who share their life experiences and other interests with me, and care about mine. Folks that I would ride for any day without a second thought, because I know they’d ride for me. We share inside jokes, big feelings, and coupons. We go over their session times every time, send reels back and cheer for each other’s friends and families.

Like WHAT? What is life that I am so fortunate to know these people?

Working with people gets a bad rap sometimes, but it is truly such an honor.

And listen— I absolutely respect some folks’ desire to come in, do their work, be cool while we’re here, and head out. ALL GOOD. I appreciate y’all, and have so much gratitude for the way we vibe! Just know, if you ever wanted to pull up to the table, we’d all grab you a chair. 🫶🏻

I heard a phrase years ago, and I come back to it all the time: “I am not self-made, I am COMMUNITY MADE.’

And it’s true. Service is just intention without the people you serve. Without the people around me, I’m not really doing much. You guys make it all the best, and I am so very grateful to know you… 🥲 (yes, even you! The dead past client-friends that moved on for one reason or another! You too!)

The last time I posted my pre-pigeon BS, I took a lot of heat with it. So I’ll just say that strength belongs in yoga and so does play. I won’t be explaining any further than that, but you can see my previous post for more information 😅
