The Maah Daah Hey 100 is the raddest race in the baddest place, but it is so much more than that... it is an experiende, an achievement, it is something legendary. Riding the MDH in one day is something that very few mountain bikers can say they have done. Come race on the world famous badlands singletrack, we guarantee you will never be the same.

Very well done Syd and Macky, welcome to the MDH FAM!

🔥 107 MILES. 110° TEMPS. THE MAAH DAAH HEY. 🔥

If you’ve ever wondered what it actually feels like to take on the MDH100, this is worth your time.

Syd and Macky captured their experience battling through 107 miles of North Dakota Badlands in absolutely brutal heat — and put together an awesome look at the beauty, suffering, grit, and adventure that make this race unlike anything else.

The Maah Daah Hey doesn’t hand out easy miles. It makes you earn every single one of them.

Whether you’ve raced the MDH100, volunteered, crewed for someone, or you’re sitting at home wondering if you could ever do something this crazy… WATCH THIS.

🥇🥇 2026 MDH100 Women’s Champions

🥇🥇 History was made at the 2026 MDH100! 🥇🥇

During the pre-race meeting that morning, I jokingly told all 97 riders that this was the first year in MDH100 history that every guy was officially in danger of getting chicked. 😆🚴‍♀️

For those who aren’t mountain bikers, getting “chicked” simply means getting passed by a woman during a race.

Well… it almost happened. 😅

Our men’s champion was the only rider to break the 9-hour barrier, and just 15 minutes later, these two incredible women came charging into the finish…

Holding hands.

Together. ❤️

🚵‍♀️ Jenna Rinehart
🚵‍♀️ Leah Van der Linden

⏱️ Official Celebratory Time: 9:13:21
🚴 Average Speed: 10.8 mph

With that unforgettable finish, they accomplished THREE historic firsts in MDH100 history:

🥇 They became the first-ever female co-champions, creating the first tie for first place our race has ever seen.

🏅 They became the first women in the history of the MDH100 to break the 10-hour barrier, earning our coveted Sub-10 Hour Belt Buckles for the very first time.

📖 And because this was the first year our finish line was relocated to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, their incredible performance also establishes the first official women’s course record on the new MDH100 course.

That’s not just fast…

That’s historic.

Their decision to cross the finish line hand in hand was a beautiful display of sportsmanship and respect—one that perfectly captured the spirit of mountain biking. Sometimes the greatest victories aren’t about beating someone else; they’re about accomplishing something extraordinary together.

Congratulations to Jenna Rinehart and Leah Van der Linden for rewriting the MDH100 record books and inspiring everyone who witnessed this incredible moment.

We have a feeling this won’t be the last record you rewrite. 👏🏜️🚵‍♀️

🏆 2026 MDH100 Men’s Champion

🏆 Congratulations to our 2026 MDH100 Men’s Champion, Macky Franklin! 🏆

What. A. Ride. 💥

Out of 97 riders who lined up to take on one of the toughest singletrack mountain bike races in the country, only one rider conquered the Maah Daah Hey in under 9 hours! 🔥

🚵 Macky Franklin crossed the finish line in an incredible 8:58:23, averaging 11.1 mph over 100 miles of rugged Badlands singletrack. His performance wasn’t just fast—it was dominant.

This year also marked the beginning of a new era for the MDH100 as our finish line moved to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. With the new finish came a new course, and Macky’s incredible ride now stands as the first official course record on the new MDH100 course. 🏆

Congratulations on an unforgettable performance, a well-earned championship, and forever etching your name into the MDH100 record books.

The Badlands don’t hand out victories—they make you earn every single mile.

Enjoy that championship… and that course record. You’ve earned them both. 🤘🏜️🚵

⏱️ Winning Time: 8:58:23
