Congratulations to the champions of our Fall 2025 season, the Space Coast Jays!

Just one year after inception, and following a Spring season where they posted a 1-14 record, Manager of the Year Nick Lurty led his team to a 6-1 record and an appearance in the Fall Championship. In a thrilling 5-4 victory over the four-time League champion Melbourne Mayhem, the Jays put an exclamation mark on one of the most tremendous stories in our league's history. Today, they proudly added their name to the President's Trophy, and we honor them for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to good baseball.

As the year turns over, our League is gearing up for our Spring season, currently expected to begin around the end of January 2026. Information regarding tryouts will be posted as soon as possible. We will be offering our usual 17+ Competitive and 17+ Recreational divisions, as well as a provisional 40+ division for our upper-age participants. All games will be played exclusively in Brevard County.

If you or anyone you know would like to join a team or start one, please message our page or register online at cfableague.com. We also offer divisions in the Tampa, Lakeland, and Sarasota areas throughout the Central Florida Amateur Baseball League organization. Come join in on the fun!

Congratulations to our 2025 Spring Champions, the Melbourne Los Padres! In a 3-2 thriller against the defending Melbourne Mayhem, the Los Padres walked it off in dramatic fashion on a close play at the plate. They have now clinched all three Spring seasons in which they have participated (2023, 2024, 2025), adding the 3rd plate with their name to the coveted President's Trophy; theirs to keep until the Fall championship. They are now tied with the Melbourne Mayhem for the most championships in League history.

I'd like to thank all of our teams for being flexible through a decidedly rainy summer. Florida never ceases to make scheduling difficult, and it can be trickier than it looks to get the games in. I am thankful and grateful to have finally finished our Spring season after an endless series of delays, cancelations, and venue juggling.

If you or anyone you know would like to get involved in our Fall Recreational season in Melbourne, contact us on our page or register on cfableague.com. We look forward to getting you onto the field with us!

Today, we honor their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship and we look forward to another season with them in the Spring.

Donate to Honor Coach Eussie: Support Funeral Costs, organized by Amy Wagner 11/07/2024

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Eusebio Solis, a titan of the local baseball community in Brevard County and beyond. Known to those closest to him as "Coach Eussie", he was best known for being the athletic director, head baseball coach, and a teacher at Cocoa High School. He was also responsible for the creation of Club 321 Baseball and Dinger's Batting Cage; two local organizations pivotal for youth involvement in the sport. In his free time, he continued to play baseball in the Orlando Baseball Association adult league. Though he was not directly affiliated with the CFABL organization, we recognize his tremendous legacy and mourn with the rest of our community.

A link to the GoFundMe for funeral arrangements and other end-of-life costs is posted below. Please consider supporting this effort and his family during this difficult time.

Congratulations to our Spring 2024 Champions, the Melbourne Los Padres! Despite facing a three-game uphill battle as the fourth seed in our playoffs, the team claimed the President's Trophy for the second season in a row. In a masterful complete game performance by the League's Cy Young Award winner, Samuel Rosario, the team triumphed over the Brevard County Cardinals in a 6-2 thriller at Cocoa Beach High School.

Our League will reconvene later this month to arrange our Fall 2024 season, currently slated to start by the end of September. The relatively shorter Fall season will be focused on introducing new players and teams to the league, as well as making our games as accessible to everyone as possible. If you or anyone you know would like to play adult amateur baseball in Brevard County, please contact us on Facebook or register on our website cfableague.com to get in on the fun. We also have new divisions starting in Hobe Sound and Mt. Dora, and we have existing divisions across Central Florida gearing up for another season.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the CFABL-East, we congratulate the Los Padres on an incredible season and look very forward to the next!
