Great news !

This week, Vermont lawmakers passed bipartisan legislation to ban paraquat — and with the Governor’s signature, Vermont will become the first state in the U.S. to address this environmental risk linked to Parkinson’s disease.
Every step of the way, advocates raised their voices, shared their experiences and pushed for change — and it resulted in a major victory for the Parkinson’s community.
Vermont’s actions send a clear and critical message to other states and our federal government: the time to ban paraquat is now.

Meet this week’s featured fighter 💥 🥊
👋 What’s your name?
Mike
⏳ How long have you been coming to Rock Steady Boxing?
For a little over six months
🏋️ What’s your favorite exercise?
Boxing is my favorite. I love it second maybe the TRX bands.
❤️ What has Rock Steady Boxing improved in your life?
It has improved so much my coordination in my balance, but overall no question about it my attitude!
I look forward to this more than anything I do all week!
It’s physical and you have a lot of camaraderie amongst all the boxers, and I feel like I’m making progress. It’s so satisfying!
👍🏼What would you like to see more of at Rock Steady Boxing?
I would say boxing, but it wears me out! I love all the fun things like ping-pong, hula hoop, the balls, and the frisbees and I realize, even though I’m having fun, it’s basically a hand eye coordination and movement!
You guys snuck that in there!
🤔Tell me something interesting or a fun fact about you!
OK, let’s see most people think I am from Florida, but I am from a little town called Erwin in Tennessee outside of Johnson City.
