Haven't posted much recently. Mostly due to my laptop crashing in the beginning of October. Anyways, water has started to clean up a bit. Fishing is great right now.

Watched the Redfish fight over top water plugs and gurglers all morning. Unfortunately the bite died off as the bugs went away.

Ryan from Colorado joined me yesterday and today for some back country action. The goal was to target big fish one day and the following target a species or two on fly. I am very happy to say we accomplished three goals of his. He was able to sight fish some stud breeder Reds on spin, smaller Reds and juvenile Tarpon on fly. It really helps having a seasoned anglers when wanting to attempt these trips.

Fly fishing for Redfish will be firing up here in a few months. It's personally my favorite time of the year to be out on the water. I truly love poling undeveloped shorelines with the cool breeze of November in your face. Nothing beats enjoying old, natural Florida while looking for tailing Redfish in 10" of water. Even if fly fishing isn't your thing theirs nothing greater than watching a 20"-30" Redfish chase and inhale small soft plastics. Here are some photos from last fall.
