Melissa Youth Sports Association

MYSA will not be offering basketball this season. Please go through McKinney Sports Connection, PSA, or The Fieldhouse USA for registrations.

Due to the league we were in not offering back several teams, and the amount of gym space needed for practice we do not see that we could accommodate all teams with enough practice times or find a league that benefits our children.

As a reminder: Football registration is now open!!

Cheer registration is now open!!!

Volleyball registration will be done directly through PSA this season. You can either form a team and sign up as a team or sign up as an individual. Please contact the Melissa School Administration office for reserving practice times.

ALL MYSA BASKETBALL GAMES SCHEDULED TO BE PLAYED THIS SATURDAY IN MELISSA HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DO TO THE MISD CLOSING FOR THE FLU. PLEASE WATCH FOR EMAILS FOR UPDATES ON THOSE GAMES BEING RESCHEDULED TO OTHER TOWNS.

MYSA has partnered with McKinney Baseball and Softball Association for the upcoming season!!!

All registrations will be done through www.mbatx.org

When you register make sure you select Melissa as you city and the correct school. All Melissa kids will be kept together and will practice in Melissa.

Games will be played in McKinney

The contact for baseball will be David Waite and the softball contact will be Amy Feagin

There will be 2 other 6th grade teams.

Thanks to those 4th and 5th graders who came out for tryouts, unfortunately we don't have the numbers to make true competitive teams. With that said, there will be one 4th grade team and one 5th grade team.

There will also be one 1st/2nd grade team and one 3rd grade team.

Volleyball registration closes tonight.

Reminder: if you are trying out for the fourth grade, fifth grade, six grade competitive teams you will need to be at the tryouts tomorrow.

The last day for uniform fitting is also tomorrow between 10 o'clock and 1 o'clock at McKillop elementary gym. There are currently 52 girls signed up to play, only six came to the first uniform fitting.
