Ever wonder why your team is always doing another fundraiser? 👀 For SCTP teams, fundraising can help make the shooting sports experience more accessible for athletes and give teams the resources they need to grow.

Funds raised by teams can help support things like:
🎯 Am******on & targets
🏆 Tournament & competition expenses
🚌 Travel & lodging
👕 Team uniforms & gear
🔧 Equipment & supplies
📣 Recruiting & team growth
💙 Scholarships or financial assistance
🏕️ Practices, team events & athlete experiences

And sometimes, fundraising simply helps take some of the financial pressure off families. So how can your team fundraise?

Get creative! Some teams host:
🍔 Restaurant nights
🎟️ Raffles
🧁 Bake sales
🎯 Tournaments
🤝 Local business partnerships

There isn't one right way to fundraise. The best fundraiser is one that fits your team, your community, and your athletes. Because every dollar raised can help create another opportunity for an athlete to practice, compete, travel, learn, and grow.
Fundraising isn't just about raising money. It's about raising opportunities.

What does YOUR team do to fundraise? Drop your best fundraising idea in the comments! 👇 Something you do every year might be a new idea to someone across the country!

What a weekend for North Carolina SCTP! 🔥

Athletes from across the state came together for the NC SCTP State Sporting Clays Championship, putting their skills to the test, competing alongside their teammates, and making memories on the course.

From the first target to the last, these athletes showed the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship that make SCTP so special.

👏 Congratulations to every athlete who competed today!
And a huge THANK YOU to the coaches, parents, volunteers, range staff, and everyone who helped make this championship possible. These events don’t happen without you!

🏆 Whether you left with a championship title, a new personal best, or simply some great memories with your team, we hope you’re proud of the day you had.

START A TEAM. START SOMETHING BIG.

What if starting an SCTP team is easier than you think?
You don’t need a huge roster.
You don’t need everything figured out.
& you don’t need to wait until next season.
You just need a few athletes, a place to shoot, and someone willing to take the first step. From there, you can build.

Bring a friend. Find a coach. Connect with a local range. Get parents involved. Start small and grow one athlete at a time. Because every established SCTP team started somewhere.

Start the conversation. Start the team. Start something that can make a difference for athletes in your community.
