Tae Kwon Do training in North Texas. We follow the guidelines set by the AKATO system. Mrs. Tyler is the founder and instructor for DMD Tae Kwon Do LLC.

Ginny Aversa Tyler began American Nam Seo Kwan Tae Kwon Do in 1995 and earned her black belt in 1999. She co-founded The Tigers Demonstration Team, which brought awareness of the Martial Arts to city events in Garland, Richardson, and Plano. She has also trained with Traditional Okinawan, Wing Chun, Shotokan, and Kobudo instructors, also earning her black belt in Kobudo in 2020. Following the AKATO system, she has been an instructor for over 18 years. Ginny has taught for Tae Kwon Do of Anna and First Class North Texas Homeschool Co-op, as well as hosted various self-defense and martial arts awareness seminars. Tyler is also the author of the children's "Kingdom Kicks" book series, currently available on Amazon. This dynamic character building series was Century Martial Arts' 2018 best-sellers, and in the same year, Mrs. Tyler was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in recognition of this series. DMD Tae Kwon Do is a Christian martial arts school with an emphasis on character development. Both children and adults are welcome!

We want to congratulate our students who took part in advanced exams today!

Aiden earned his 1st Dan Black Belt! He chose Philippians 4:13 for his Kingdom Warriors verse.
This young man has been training with DMD Tae Kwon Do since he was 5, and today was the culmination of many years of hard work, perseverance, and growth.

Kim earned her 2nd Dan Black Belt! Mrs. Shewmake was the first student promoted to Black Belt at DMD Tae Kwon Do, and we are incredibly blessed to have her as an active part of our dojo. Her patience with our younger students is immeasurable.

Nick earned his 3rd Dan Black Belt! Mr. Edwards demonstrated an incredible specialty on Brazilian jujitsu, along with his other material. We are also very proud of his demonstration of technique and power with his concrete break.

Well done to all of our students today! May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen you and your families!

It was a busy day at the dojo! Two rank promotions, four classes, and our weekly Bible study. Tonight was also the first night our Bible study was too large to contain in the waiting area - praise the Lord for hearts that thirst for Jesus and His word!

After our study, one of my students gave me a beautiful gift. Words can't describe how grateful and blessed I am to do what I do, and when Jesus speaks through the mouths of the little ones, I can't help but praise Him all the more. He is always so good to us.

Congratulations to our students who ranked up in today's test! It was an exciting day, as this was our first official test day in the new dojo.

Eliana earned her Yellow Belt.

Jackson earned his Orange Belt and chose Proverbs 3:27 for his Kingdom Warriors verse.

Ethan earned his Green Stripe and went for the gold on his recitation! He earned his Blue Star and recited all of Psalm 23!

Ari earned his Blue Belt and chose Genesis 1:1 for his Kingdom Warriors verse.

Josh earned a Brown Stripe with an excellent rating! Josh recited Philippians 4:13 for his Kingdom Warriors verse.

We are so excited for these students and proud of their hard work. Well done!

We had a GREAT first class at our new location! We were especially thankful for all of the equipment that was readily available (that I could not move in and out of class each week at our old location).

Barbara earned her Orange Belt with an excellent! She chose Romans 15:1-2 for her Kingdom Warriors verse.

Jayden earned her Green Stripe with an excellent! She recited Psalm 8:1 for her Kingdom Warriors verse.

Well done everyone! Those new ranks are well-earned!

Attention students and parents!

Next week, we will begin our new training schedule at our new location!

We are SO thankful to the Lord for bringing us over the finish line of this project, and we are praising His mighty name for His goodness, mercy, and providence!

Thank you to everyone who has lifted us up in prayer and walked this journey alongside us so faithfully!

We are SO proud of our students that took part in our summer of service challenge, and our final numbers are in!

Nineteen students took up the gauntlet and chose to spend a portion of their summers in service to the community, through various outlets, and between those students, 435 service hours were earned!

We were incredibly excited to celebrate these student's accomplishments tonight with an ice cream party and take home goodies. The earthly rewards were great, but the eternal rewards will be greater.

Thank you to everyone who chose to dedicate their free time in service to others. You truly were the hands of Jesus in our community. Well done!
