We’ve been so busy that we haven’t been checking our cameras like we should or posting like I want to but I’ll try to do a better job of it. In any case here’s a few more to raise your expectations a little bit. The deer are looking as good as they possibly can this year with the amount of natural nutrition that’s there. We can’t wait to see what opening weekend brings. Should be incredible

Well it’s been awhile since we’ve put up any pics and I apologize. To say we’ve been busy is an understatement. Here’s a few of this years deer to kick it off. Everything is still pretty lush and green out there that we’ve only got a small portion of our good deer coming in but we’ll be sharing a lot of pics soon. Hunting season is approaching fast and it won’t be long before the trophy pics start rolling in. Hope everyone is getting as excited as we are.

For all you turkey hunters out there, today is the day to open our books for next years turkey season. At 8:00 this morning, Texas time, we’ll start taking reservations for next season. And next season is gonna be phenomenal based on all the rainfall and cover we have going into our nesting time frame. Remember we don’t take a lot of turkey hunters compared to our deer season so you need to call early to get a spot. Call 325-660-7819

Remember, we start booking for 2027 Turkey hunts on Monday morning May 11th at 8:00am. You’ll need to call 325-660-7819 and as we always do, it’ll be 1st call first serve. Don’t hesitate if you plan on booking. We’ve had a lot of calls looking to get in. I don’t want anyone to miss out.

Once again we had another strong front push through down here just in time for another turkey hunting weekend. And once again the rains scared away some of our hunters but the ones that stayed were greatly rewarded. Birds are still incredibly active, cooperative and numerous and one of our lucky hunters were pleasantly surprised with a 4 beard bird. Amazing weekend for sure.

Another very exciting week in the books. I think everyone saw multiple birds in numbers most couldn’t believe and this late in the season speaks volumes to the number of birds we actually have. So much fun and next year is just gonna get better. With the rainfall we’ve had this year the vegetation cover is unreal right now which means very high survival rates for new hatches. With that, remember we are opening the books up to reserve your hunt for next year on May 11th at 8:00 am. With the phone calls and texts we’ve been having, the openings might not last long. They’re still fired up over here. Another 100% weekend and another strong cold front blew , still didn’t affect the turkey at all. This will be a year we’ll talk about for a long time
