Andy Marquez's sister contacted me this morning and shared the arrangements for Andy's services:

We received sad news yesterday that Andy Marquez, coach/manager of GMSA's Arsenal and Arsenal 35 teams, passed away over the weekend. Andy had played on various teams in GMSA going back to at least the early 1990s, and had been running both Arsenal teams for the last couple of decades.

GMSA extends its sincere condolences to Andy's family, friends, and current/former teammates.

I received an email this morning from our friends over in Knoxville regarding this young man who was severely injured during an adult match last weekend. A GoFundMe has been established for him.

A reminder to all of us to be careful out there...reckless/dangerous play can have serious consequences to ourselves and our opponents.
