**Turf Renovation Update. We have started to see a lot of progress in the past week. So far, ground has been broken on 5 fields, and the dirt has almost been completely removed from all 5. Field 9 is moving along nicely with the drainage and the rock being placed. We are looking to have these 5 fields complete by mid September!

The turf project has begun!!! Field 10-Memphis Sports Council Field, is where we are starting. This field will be completely turf and the remaining 9 fields will be all turf infield.

Gameday Baseball in Cordova and USA Stadium in Millington is hiring several different positions in preparation for our busy weekend tournament schedules. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time job. Flexible hours to meet your needs.

Jobs available:

Scoreboard Operators/Diamond Kast Scoring: Diamond Kast is a scoring app that tracks all the stats from our events. A knowledge of baseball is very important to complete this task.

Groundscrew Worker: we are looking for someone who enjoys working outside and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Basic knowledge of baseball and landscaping is helpful, but not necessary.

Concessions Workers: you will work directly with the public in our busy concession stands. You will be responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers. Also need to have customer service skills and a positive attitude. Experience and knowledge of cash and credit card transactions is a plus in the position

Ticket Sales: this position interacts with most every person who comes to Gameday. Great communication skills is a must. Experience and knowledge of cash and credit card transactions is a plus.

Information will be released today on how your team can receive a paid entry to the Perfect Game World Series in Orange Beach by playing in our events at Gameday.

Brooke & Madison Smith are at Gameday tonight to support the 14U Collierville Dragons. They are the first people to purchase tickets for tonight’s Perfect Game Grand Opening. Because of this, Madison received a PG Memphis T-shirt and bumper sticker.
