When was the last time your junior player’s racquet was restrung?
If your answer was:
🤷♀️ “I have no idea.”
😬 “It hasn’t broken a string, so we’re good.”
😂 “Probably sometime last season…”
We need to talk. 😂
Middle school tennis is BACK, which means matches are coming—and that racquet that’s been sitting in their bag since last season might be ready for a little attention.
🎾 A good rule of thumb is to restring about every 6 months, even for recreational players. Strings lose tension over time, so they don’t have to break for them to need replacing.
Before the first match:
✔️ Check the strings
✔️ Check the grip
✔️ Make sure the racquet still feels right
✔️ Bring it to String ‘N Swing for a restring!
Because the night before the first match is NOT the time for your kid to say:
“Mom…something feels weird with my racquet.” 😳😂
Get ahead of it. Get them match-ready. 🎾

What a night! 🎉🎾
A huge THANK YOU to Catherine Harrison for hanging out with us at String N Swing Leftwich! From signing autographs and taking photos to chatting with fans, you made the evening one to remember.
It was awesome to have a Memphis native back home sharing her love for the game with our tennis community. We loved seeing so many familiar faces (and meeting some new ones too)!
