Mamba Trail Runners

One of our favorite things about being a sponsor is getting to meet runners and share our passion for the trails. At the Discover the Greenway 5K, we had a great time talking about our races, introducing people to Mamba Trail Runners, and connecting with members of the local running community.
We’re proud to support Shelby Farms Park and the Wolf River Conservancy, and we’re thankful for opportunities to help grow our local running community while building relationships with runners from all across the country.

Looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning outdoors?

Join us Saturday, June 13th at 7:00 AM for the Cape 5K / 10K on the beautiful Tour de Wolf Trails inside Shelby Farms Park. With more than 200 runners expected, it will be the largest trail race in the Memphis area this summer.

The Cape is a great introduction to trail running if you’ve never tried it before, but it’s also fast enough for experienced trail runners who want to push the pace. You’ll get winding singletrack trails, a fun atmosphere, and a course that keeps you engaged from start to finish.

After the race, stick around and enjoy cold drinks, snacks, music, awards, and time with fellow runners.

🚨 Cobra Den Trail Series Finisher Board Update 🚨

Every runner who signs up for the Cobra Den Trail Series—whether in-person or virtual—will receive this awesome 12-inch finisher display board along with all four race medals. Each medal features a magnet on the back and attaches directly to the board, creating a unique finisher display you’ll be proud to show off.

We placed our first order on May 4, and we’re placing our next order on June 13 for everyone who has signed up since then. If you want to guarantee your finisher board and medal set in the next order, you have until June 12 to register.

Can’t make it to the races in person? No problem. Our virtual option allows you to run the distances anywhere you choose, and we’ll ship your:

In person runners - Your finisher board will be distributed at the Samar 4 & 8 Miler race.

40 spots remain for the first race of the Cobra Den Trail Series — the Cape 5K/10K on June 13!

We already have 160 runners registered, which is the same number of runners we had in the entire race last year. With many runners traditionally signing up during the final two weeks, this is shaping up to be the largest Cape 5K/10K we’ve ever hosted.

If you can’t make the entire Cobra Den Trail Series, come join us for this one race and experience some of the best trail running in Memphis.

T-shirts have already been ordered, so we cannot guarantee a 2026 event shirt for recent sign-ups. However, while supplies last, runners who do not receive a 2026 shirt will receive one of our race shirts from a previous year.

Mamba Trail Runners will be at the KEEN + Grivet Outdoors Strava Segment Challenge at Overton Park in Memphis tomorrow!

Join us from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a fun morning with runners from all over the Memphis area. Multiple run groups will be represented, making it a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and connect with the local running community.

Come get in some miles, take your shot at the Strava segment challenge, check out some KEEN gear, and enjoy a great morning in the park. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win some awesome prizes, including a Grand Prize trail running trip to Oregon.
