Helping you hit your mark, one shot at a time. For those who don't know me personally, here is a little information about "Coach". My name is Sarah Rohde!
To the kids, I'm Ms. Sarah, Coach Sarah, Coach, or my preference, Sarah. I was born in 1995, have 5 siblings, and got my start in archery in 2008, big thanks to my two big brothers for that one. My archery career has been an interesting one. I hold 10 Tennessee State Archery Champion titles, 2 Tennessee State Silver Medals, a National Championship Silver Medal, and several others. In 2010, I was r
anked 15th in the Nation in my division of athletes. I attended several Junior Elite Training camps where I learned from many elite athletes and coaches. I am a HomeLife Academy Homeschool Graduate and a University of TN at Martin Alumni. My degree is in sport business and marketing! My archery education includes a Level IV Coaching certification from USA Archery (there are only 5 levels), SafeSport certifications, CPR certifications, and furthered education through a wide variety of books and seminars. I have coached or instructed for HomeLife Academy, UT Martin, Veteran programs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, many other programs, and of course running my business, Archery Awaits Coaching. I'm a bit of a bookworm, especially if it's a classic, and I'm often found curled up with my German Shepherd when I'm not working. I love tea and I'm mildly addicted to my morning coffee. Group Fitness is another passion of mine as I enjoy helping people find healthier and happier lifestyles. I've spent roughly 4 years in that field and am always working on using my fitness knowledge to better assist my athletes in being the best version of themselves.

There are TWO weeks left to register for Archery Training for Scouts! This training is designed to teach your Scout more about proper archery technique and give them several opportunities to achieve the required score for their Archery Merit Badge!
If we have enough Scouts sign up, we will ALSO try to cover more of the requirements needed for them to earn their badges!
Email me Today to reserve your spot and then share it with your Scout Friends so that they can work on their badge too! Coach Sarah Graves - [email protected]

I do not know your name -
Nor for which battle you died.
I do not know your home,
Nor the tears that were cried.
I do not know where you rest -
Nor the promises broken.
I do not know your uniform
And your fears lay unspoken.
But, I know your spirit exists -
That your courage is admired,
And your sacrifice is honored
By each soul that's inspired.
And I offer you from my heart
Thank you, to guardians unknown
For offering yourselves for us all
That we may keep freedom...
Our home.

May we never forget those who gave everything they had for family, friends, and strangers alike. That we might sleep in peace and look forward to a better tomorrow.
Stay safe and have a Blessed Memorial Day.

Remember when I said "it was all wrong" 🤣 well, good news! Thanks to a new, beautifully made string from , an *almost* properly set nocking point, and moving my plunger 5 clickers stiffer, these arrows are starting to look better!
They were still hitting a little weak - see how the bare arrows (no feathers) are to the right side of my fletched arrows?
So, I decided to experiment by using lighter points in order to make the arrows fly a little "stiffer".
Don't worry, a full write up of exactly what I'm talking about and how it all works together is coming! I can only post 1 video, and I have sooo many to share, so I'm having to decide a different route for explaining all the fun things!

Expectations... sometimes they are helpful... most of the time, they are not...
The reality is, that we all make mistakes or mess up and that's not wrong. What's wrong, is allowing that mistake or miss to define you. You aren't a bad athlete, you're just learning.
Mistakes & misses are where growth happens. So. Try again. And again. And again.
