Last week our Head Coach Aaron provided Seminars for Club Suhari Karate in Lanzarote 🥋

2 energetic sessions for members of their competition team were held at the Suhari Karate Sports Centre by Aaron 🥋

Over sight provided by Sensei Marco, Sensei Omar & Sensei Lars of Suhari Karate.

Aaron was also welcomed to attend the Suhari Karate Exhibition Day where students of all ages provided an excellent demonstration of Karate & Self Defence.

Mayo Karate Academy is growing a fantastic relationship with Suhari and sincerely thank them for their friendship, generosity & Welcome 🙏

Rounding off our Medal Results from the Scottish Karate International Open 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Congratulations to all students who participated & represented MKA. All students got through rounds, made progress, challenged themselves & stepped out with confidence.

We want to say Well Done to all our students who competed & who should be proud of their performances regardless of medals 🥋 Every day is a learning day to improve for the future!

It was another exciting MKA Kumite Final in Scotland with Brayden King & Adam Hanahoe meeting in the Final 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆

Brayden taking GOLD and Adam bringing home SILVER in Kumite while both students also secured BRONZE in Kata🥋 Taking home 2 Medals each at International Level 👏

Well done Brayden & Adam... Team-Mates on & off the mats with both students encouraging each other all the way! 💪

Congratulations to Natasha Reddington who takes home the SILVER Medal in Individual Kumite & BRONZE in Open Weight Kumite 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Natasha is one of our outstanding Role Models in MKA - on & off the competition area, she lives for Karate! She brings determination, passion & skill of the highest level which our young students continue to replicate🙌

No one would have thought this was Shauna's first International Competition away with her display of confidence, professionalism & courage taking her through to the Kata Finals 🥋

MKA had a very busy day competing at the Karate Scotland International Open today 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Early flight this morning, competition all day in the arena & now patiently waiting for a late flight home✈️

This is hard work but we want to thank the students, parents, coaches & Liaison Officer Ann for the tremendous work put in for each & every student of our Academy👏

This is dedication, commitment & teamwork at it's best & one we are proud of!
