Give a big welcome to coach who has been with us at shed for a few weeks now. I’m sure y’all have had an opportunity to take one of her classes but if you haven’t keep a close eye on mindbody to find one!
Ashley is native Memphian! She grew up as a competitive dancer and received her degree in Dance from University of Alabama. She is presently a full-time Dance Adjudicator for a national dance competition and free-lance choreographer! Ashley also teaches for two local dance studios. She received her RYT-200 in Yoga 2016 in New York City. The athleticism and physicality from dancing eventually led to a greater curiosity into strength training… this commitment and deep dive pushed Ashley to eventually teaching group fitness classes two years ago. Outside of dance and the gym, she’s an avid cyclist!

Memorial Day Crew 🇺🇸
Big 👏🏼 for everyone who showed up and killed it Monday morning!
Our biggest goal here at shed is building a community. We want to be more then just a place you show up to workout but a place where we can encourage and cheer each other on through the hard work we do on a daily basis. So a big thank you for everyone who showed up and stuck around while a few chose to take on Murph!

SHED Fam is growing! And we are looking for trainers who are motivating, extremely high energy and passionate about health and fitness!! Candidates need to be familiar with general fitness and need to hold a group training certificate or personal training certificate.
SHED trainers will be responsible for delivering pre-designed group classes for up to 24 clients per session. Group class instruction requires a strong ability to coach, manage time, correct form, and motivate multiple clients in a group setting.
SHED Trainers are expected to integrate into the SHED culture and family, build relationships with clients during pre/post workout moments. It is preferred that that the candidate have motivation to grow personal training business between group class times. Additionally, SHED trainers must have positive, engaging personalities, willing to be apart of the fun SHED community.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to be professional, energetic, and motivate class participants
-Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principles.
-Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, clock management, form corrections, exercise modifications.
-Desire to become a part of our supportive, close-knit and fun team
-Willingness to engage on all social media platforms regularly
-Open Availability (early mornings, nights, and weekends)
-Desire to grow relationships with clients
-Offer personal training services (preferred)
