GAME 19: L - PHX 86 MEM 84 - Bad calls towards the end help to seal the deal as the Memphis Grizzlies (w10 - L9) get edged out by the Phoenix Suns (w7 - L12) increasing their losing streak to 3 in a row in the L column - Down by as many as 16pts, the Grizz battle ALL the way back only to be undone by someone NOT wearing a jersey and shorts... NBA official Tom Washington, who basically gave this game away on a silver platter to the Suns - I mean, THREE bad calls in a row?? REALLY?? Did you want the Suns to win 'that' badly?? Obviously, TOM WASHINGTON must have a MAN-CRUSH on Suns Forward JARED DUDLEY because how else could he run into MARC GASOL, knocking HIM to the ground and MARC gets charged with the foul?? And how else could JARED DUDLEY trip over his OWN FEET with NO ONE touching him, but MIKE CONLEY gets charged with the foul?? There's something fishy going on here... So with that being said, I MUST strip NBA official TOM WASHINGTON of his STRIPES and put him on the UN-OFFICIAL WALL OF SHAME! Terrible performance Mr. Washington, just TERRIBLE! - Moving along, the Grizz were led by Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol, both with 18pts a piece and Marc adds 13rebs for his 11th dub-dub of the season - Mike Conley also contributes a dub-dub with 15pts 10assts - Tony Allen pitches in 10pts - If NBA Officials would stop treating the Grizzlies organization like a distant STEP-COUSIN with all these BOGUS calls, then maybe we could win MORE games - It's not FAIR to have to play against the other team AND the REFS too... That's the UNOFFICIAL word, GO GRIZZ!!!

GAME 18: L - LAC 98 MEM 91 - Can the Grizz bounce back after a loss that snapped our 7 game win streak and start another one? Not tonight as the Memphis Grizzlies (w10 - L8) fall to the Los Angeles Clippers (w10 - L6) and increase their losses to 2 consecutive - Rudy Gay leads the way with a game high 24pts - Marc Gasol contributes ANOTHER dub-dub with 18pts 11rebs, his 10th of the season - Also in double figures was Tony Allen with 14pts and OJ Mayo off the bench with 14pts as well - Let's see if we can get back to our winning ways in the next game - That's the UNOFFICIAL word and as always, GO GRIZZ!!!

GAME 17: L - POR 97 MEM 84 - Down by as many as 20 with less than a quarter to go in the game?? Do I smell another comeback?? NOT THIS TIME as the Memphis Grizzlies (w10 - L7) were not able to pull off another miraculous come from behind victory and fall to the Portland Trailblazers (w11 - L7) snapping their 7 game win streak - The Grizz's inability to muster up any offensive firepower was the main catalyst for this loss and it is very evident being that we only had 2 players to score in double figures - OJ Mayo led the way off the bench with 20pts and Rudy Gay barely made it into double figures with 11pts - No dub-dubs to report tonight seeing how as the supporting cast somewhat disappeared, but I guess that can happen when you're playing against a team who has a defensive minded player like Marcus Camby - Camby registered 5 blocks along with 22 rebounds and contributed to our guys just not being able to throw the ball in the ocean - So...with our winning streak snapped at 7 games, what do we do?? A: Start another winning streak! That's the UNOFFICIAL word with me, JDoc - GO GRIZZ!!!

GAME 16: W - MEM 91 GSW 90 - Down by as many as 20 with less than a quarter to go in the game?? NO PROBLEM as the Memphis Grizzlies (w10 - L6) come back b/c momma said knock out the Golden State Warriors (w5 - L11) keeping their winning streak ALIVE, increasing it 7 wins in a row! - Somebody pass me my HEART MEDICATION please...WHEW!!! - Basically, you can throw away the first 3 and a half quarters of this game b/c the REAL game happened in the last half of the 4th quarter - Overall, the 4th quarter was the tell tale quarter as the Grizz outscore the Warriors 39 to 22 to complete an AMAZING comeback - Rudy Gay leads the way with a game high 23pts 9rebs, marking the 6th time in 7 games he's scored at least 20pts - We know you can make dunks, but MAKE YA FREE THROWS RUDY!!! - And how would the reigning Western Conference Player of the Week respond? How about with a dub-dub as Marc Gasol contributes 15pts 11rebs, his 9th dub-dub of the season - Mike Conley continues his steady play with 20pts 9assts - Tony Allen chips in 12pts - The 'THANK YOU MAN' award goes to OJ Mayo, off the bench with 11pts, for making his FREE THROWS down the stretch to ice the game, putting it just out of reach for the Warriors...THANK YOU MAN!!! - GREAT, GREAT, GREAT win by the Grizz! - This just goes to show, NEVER count out the GRITTY, GRINDING, GRIMEY GRIZZ!!!
