Ecstatic Dance Ceremony is a gently facilitated opportunity for improvisational, feel-good movement themed in ritual. You are your guide as the music takes you on a journey inward, forming meditation in motion with each beat of the music and heart.
 
This workshop is an opportunity to dance freely and openly without the distraction of conversation, technology, or choreography. All music is carefully and consciously curated in a live DJ set!

🪩✨In honor of the Autumn Equinox, and as the wheel of the year moves into fall, Katie Billings & Gillian Lepisto invite you to join them for Ecstatic Equinox, an Ecstatic Dance, Tea, and Guided Meditation Ceremony at Delta Groove Yoga.

Join us as we make space for rewilding, release and embodiment through dance, meditation, and intentionally crafted herbal teas and essential oils in order to support the energy of the changing season and a sense of community.

🪩✨During the ceremony you can expect to be allowed space and frequency to unravel any layers ready to be shed in order to move more deeply into your own authentic expression.... to be accepted as uniquely you, to let the rhythms move, enchant, embrace, and free you in a circle of community and acceptance.

"The end of one world is the beginning of another"

We are asked to adapt permanently to an impermanent world. Change is exciting, scary, inspiring, ungrounding, unpredictable; change is life; change is death; change is creative; change is evolution; change is inevitable. So no wonder we can be left feeling breathless, or exhausted, or confused.

As our beautiful DGY community is collectively facing profound changes, our Kundalini Yoga practice can be a potent ally. Kundalini energy IS evolutionary energy. When we raise it together with intention, we create a shield and a sacred space for our individual evolution to fuel the collective evolution, and vice versa.

In this workshop, we will attune with the vibration of Sa Ta Na Ma (trans: Infinity, existence/life, transformation/death, rebirth). Together, we will cultivate the courage to wholeheartedly embrace the journey that DGY has catalyzed for each of us, and honor it by radiating out into the world.

This is a Fall Equinox Special that also celebrates 13 years of DGY on Overton Square bringing the Delta Groove Kundalini Yoga to Memphis. Joni will be playing his live, atmospheric music to accompany and compliment this powerful, experiential practice.

When we release fear, relax, and choose to REJOICE, we are making a commitment to be 'ALL IN'. ALL IN means that we dedicate ourselves - body, mind, & soul - to the Path & Life we have chosen.

Breath by breath, action by action, we let the decisions in our lives be relative to that commitment. To be ALL IN doesn't mean that we have to give up anything except those things which don't lead to health & happiness anyway. We are attempting to let go of fear, live in harmony with the rhythms of the Universe, and REJOICE!

This is a gentle yoga class to recalibrate and connect to your energetic center. Babies pre-crawling stage are warmly welcomed to come along, but once your baby is independently mobile around the room (active crawling), please transition to coming on your own.

YOU are welcome as long as you consider yourself postpartum...so, forever?

This class will be nurturing and accessible. Practice knowing yourself in breath and movement, and maybe see yourself in others in this vibrant and groovy yoga community. We warmly welcome you just as you are.
