For whoever felt it was necessary to contact Memphis Animal Services regarding Serenada, please know this:

Serenada is a nearly 40-year-old senior rescue horse who is deeply loved, carefully cared for, and well fed. She has received meticulous veterinary care throughout her life and is now living out her remaining years in a safe, peaceful environment where she is cherished.

Instead of trespassing on private property to take photos and make assumptions, you could have simply knocked on the door and voiced your concern. You would have learned that Serenada is exactly where she should be—protected, respected, and allowed to live with dignity until the Lord calls her home.

Our animals are poured into daily with time, resources, and love. Attempts to create issues based on assumptions are unnecessary and unwelcome.

Future unfounded reports or trespassing will be documented and handled appropriately. Please respect private property and refrain from further interference.

Wishing you a season filled with peace, joy, and time well spent with those you love.
