McKellar Lake

Very nice lake off of the Mississippi River. Nice for boating and fishing. You may see some interesting wildlife over on the island as well.

Please feel free to share your photos as well on this page. McKellar Lake is a great fishing and boating lake. Ramp access from the Riverside Park Marina. A small $5.00 launching fee. Just be aware of the towboat and barge traffic , respect them and let them work with no worries from us recreational boaters. Bring your camera ,you'll never know what you'll see while boating here. Keep an eye on the bank of the island for some interesting bird and wild life.
