Sea Isle Park Disc Golf-Memphis

Sea Isle Park Disc Golf Course will be closed for a private event on June 2 and 3.

Hey guys, I’m a disc golfer, a resident of the Sea Isle neighborhood, and a board member of the association that established the course (Mara has moved and I'm her replacement).

Last night someone was teeing off at the 18th tee pad and throwing across a parking lot with a group of people in it to hole 3’s basket and came VERY close to injuring someone.

The Sea Isle disc golf course is the only one in Memphis that is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It was approved by the neighborhood but it gets watched really closely so the park stays in great shape and no one gets hurt out there. If things like this continue to happen, I can guarantee you that the neighborhood will vote to just remove the course altogether. That would devastate a lot of us so PLEASE, stay on the course, don’t do foolish stuff like this, and pass this on to your fellow disc golfers.

We are closing the disc golf course around McWherter Center this Sunday, Oct 16, for our neighborhood festival. You can play on the exercise equipment side but not around the Center. Thanks so much!
