Join us in welcoming Naimah to the Sapphire Golf Tour
Naimah Jabali-Nash is an Emmy and Peabody award-winning Director and Producer. She is a dedicated storyteller who has found her way back to the game after a decorated junior golf career that began at the age of nine at the historic Langston Golf Course. Naimah was introduced to the game through her father, Jabali Nash, who played recreationally. Her father’s enthusiasm for the game was passed down to Naimah and her two older brothers, who respectively played collegiately. In 2020, Naimah founded Fearless Minds Productions to fearlessly push the boundaries of storytelling with other creatives and looks forward to embarking on this next phase in her competitive golf journey.

THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL GOLF TOUR EVENT IN HISTORY WITHIN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
DC, this is one of those moments when we get to decide what history looks like.
For generations, Langston Golf Course has represented access, opportunity, culture and the legacy of Black golf in our nation’s capital. Now, another chapter is being written on those historic grounds.
The Capital Tour Championship brings the Sapphire Golf Tour to Langston, and the women competing deserve more than a place to play. They deserve a crowd.
We want Washington, DC to come out and SEE IT. FEEL IT. WITNESS IT.
Bring your children so they can see professional women competing at the highest level. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your organization. Bring someone who has never stepped foot on a golf course before.
Because years from now, when we talk about the first one, you should be able to say: “I was there.”

If you already have, THANK YOU. Now share this post and bring somebody with you.
DC, let’s show up for these women. Let’s fill Langston. Let’s make history together.

Her Name is Elizabeth Lenton of Hercules, California. Her nickname on the Sapphire Golf Tour is Lizzo!
This bright smile you see is the smile we witnessed daily at the Peach City Women’s Open for three days and her swing and tempo was amazing! And she’s a Leftie!
Liz is a proud member of the Women’s Golf Team at THE Southern University and we look forward to seeing her rise and shine as a valued member of the team.
