Fantastic past couple weekends. Last weekend racing in Jonesboro, AR in the Skirmish finishing 12th and 1st in my age group. Renee 7th and 3rd in her age group. Wahooo. Then yesterday a fun end to end on the Tanglefoot in Mississippi. Great sights such as the stop in Ingomar, seeing the Mississippi swim team, nothing but a bunch of heifers for sure, to Algoma where the police office is the size of a garden shed. Lol Also, can't forget Renee's new buddy that kept her at bay at one of the whistlestops.

Weekend riding in Arkansas. Saturday did the Tour de Toad in Conway and Toad Suck, and left another gnome to watch the road, and crashed a wedding reception. Sunday a easy spin on the Arkansas River Trail out to Maumelle state park, and then back down Murray Park to see the roller skating banana. Warning, bit of a photo dump. Lol

Wonderful weekend riding the Cheif Ladiga/Silver Comet trail in Alabama and Georgia, and the obligatory Buc-ees stop. Got soaked Saturday and still pushed on. Renee has a new hobby besides placing gnomes on the trails collecting arrest reports where we ride. Lol. The food at local restaurants was great, but the drinks.....awesome! Surprised that my drink could also be classified as a meal. Sunday was picture perfect. Wildlife and gnomes sighted. Photo dump alert.

Skinny tire ride to get ready for an out and back on the Ladiga/Silver Comet trail next weekend. The ride was great, and the company even better. The weather was perfect, the sights were so cool, and spotted the elusive blue tree gnomes trying to blend in. Lol

Great day to ride. We'll, being retired any day is a great day to ride. Renee has a new hobby of placing gnomes on trails we ride. Should you come across one of trail gnomes, take his picture and drop it on our page. Don't say where you found him so others can enjoy finding them also.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Spent my b-day weekend putting on 120+ miles on the Tanglefoot Trail abs the Natches Trace. Rode to Bynum mounds (dated 100 bc to 100 ad), walked in the footprints of ancient travelers on the Old Trace, slept where witches were said to have danced. The return trip was aided with 15 to 20 MPH tailwinds! Didn't a few hours exploring Ingomar Mounds. Remember, leave only your footprints, unless it's gnomes. In that case leave gnomes.

Renee and I got out for a nice shake out ride before we head out next weekend. Weather was great and the family station wagon and family SUV handled like a charm. Renee seemed to have found the wet and muddy spots on the trail.
