Divisional matchup should set up close contest anyways , but Seattle seemingly plays every in 1? possesion games. Rams defense lead by D-line will cause trouble. Long drives may be difficult without big plays on both sides. Rams are good despite their slips at end of the season, but the Seahawks are the better team, with top elite qb , I got Seahawks , 28-26.

Tampa Bay Buccs 11-5 VS Washington Football Team. 7-9.
Don’t let that 7-9 fool you to much. Had alex smith been ready week 1, they’re more than likely 10-6. Smith isn’t 100% going in, must establish running game. Washington with best defensive live and probably best coached defense in the NFL will have to get pressure. Sack Brady early sack him late. Buccs have been playing well. If smith were 100%, I’d be inclined to pick WFT, very difficult game when you break down matchups. I’ll go Tampa 26-20 overtime

QB carrousel at end of the season. Dak is the only legitimate starter that’s a free agent. I believe Phillip Rivers and Drew Brees retire. I can see Wentz reuniting with Frank Reich in Indy, 9ers can get out the Jimmy G contract this off season , I believe they will if can pick up Matt Ryan from rebuilding Atlanta. Matt Stafford to the Patriots or if 9ers make that move I mentioned , Jimmy Goroppolo back to New England. I don’t think Kirk Cousins will be back in Minnesota , maybe Stafford or Daulton lands there. Washington then picks up Stafford or Fitzpatrick. It Rothlisburger retires , good spot for Cousins. Almost half the league could have new starting qb come 2021.

MVP is an award supposed to be for most valuable. Some think it’s for best player, some think best player on best team. Some think best statistical player. In the NFL most believe it was best qb for the season. Numbers don’t lie but they can be misleading. I believe it’s a mixture of all those things. Because all the candidates are extremely valuable , all are amongst best in the league. Quarterback bring the most valuable position in sports , it’s hard to give the award to a non qb. Having said all that, Rodgers, in my humble opinion , is neither the best qb or the best qb on the best team.

I’m not sh****ng on Rodgers , great year , just like every season. All these guys statistically are right there. Mahomes has lead his team as he continues to get better, only 1 loss as defending champs with target on their backs , hard to argue. Russel Wilson IMO has been the best qb last 3 seasons, and while Seattle is a win over the 9ers and a playoff hopefull Bears win over the Packers away from number 1 seed in the NFC. Noted that Wilson undoubtedly has the worst offensive line of all the candidates. Josh Allen has continued to progress, leading the Bills to back to back playoff appearances , which hadn’t been done in buffalo since Tom Brady entered the League in 2000. Allen gets a legitimate number 1 WR in Diggs, and the Bills win the AFC East for first time since 1995. Derrick Henry gives Tennessee an identity and has Ryan Tannehill putting up MVP numbers. Rodgers is amazing and put up a lot of points. Going 2-2 VS winning teams including loss to the colts and 4 score loss to Tampa. While running up scores and padding stats vs the Eagles, Jags of the league. Wilson , Allen , Mahomes and Henry all played tougher schedules and had to make more key plays down the stretch in the clutch for their teams to win. That’s just my take.

Then the Following season , Wentz put on the shelf with the Eagles at 6-7 and not looking like a playoff run to defend the title was going to happen , again , in LA, the Eagles, lead by Foles , again defeat the NFC’s top team in the Rams. Foles then lead the 6-7 eagles to 3 straight wins and a wildcard win at Chicago. Defending champion eagles would lose to top seed Saints as Foles was leading the Eagles down the field for a game winning td only to have a pass bounce off Alshon Jeffery’s hand to be intercepted inside the Saints 20 with under 1:30 to play. The Eagles letting Foles go, wasnt popular decision. Wentz then finishes the season , starting and finishing all 16 games and winning the NFC East with a 4 game winning streak to end the season. Then in Wentz 1st playoff game , knocked out the game, by what I thought was a dirty hit by Seattle’s defensive end Jadaveon Clowney. The game came down to the end but this time no Foles magic , it was 40 year old Josh Mccown. So Eagles need ring a back up , as all teams do , but especially with lack of confidence in Wentz’s ability to stay healthy. I was calling for Hurtz to play since week 3. Most professional analyst saw/see Hurtz and a Tim Tebow like gadget gimmick qb not a starting true nfl quarterback. Hurtz was the spark , as I said the whole team rallied around the kid, knowing obviously season is essentially on the line and Hurtz can’t carry the team, atleast not yet. So the pros saying throwing the rookie to the wolves so to speak. Saints had I believe 30+ consecutive games of not allowing a 100 yard rusher. Well Hurtz as I stated hit over a 100 joining reigning MVP Lamar Jackson as only rookies in league history to rush fir 100 yards in their first start , and Miles Sanders also rushed for over 100 yards to end the Saints 9 game winning streak , 30+ game streak not allowing 100 yard rusher with 2 guys rushing over 100 yards. I believe Pederson is damn good coach coming from the great Andy Reid coaching tree. I believe Hurtz has great work ethic and very coachable , so Hurtz gets coached up, rookie wide outs get more comfortable, Zack Ertz returning giving them 2 top level tight ends , most importantly getting the running game going and being a running team. Will Hurtz remain the starter the rest of the season ? Unless he just becomes turnover prone , or gets injured , I say yes, he remains the starter, and will become the 2nd guy in the Wentz era to lead the team to playing better football as a team and winning football.
