They ain’t gonna all be Mona Lisas.

Ok, we didn’t bowl well collectively. At all.

Iggy had 696. A high other for Serb. A straight up other for Dominator. And the reunited J&J Express had us scrambling through the record books for lowest super-others.

But you know what? When the SerbskE$ Club is matched up against the defending league champions, we do whatever it takes to win.

And we did.

Not game one, mind you. Yeah, that was really really stinky. Like, rotten fish smell. So bad. Apologies to our Nation for screwing up the Burger Streak.

But we stayed the course, bought Stretch a couple a Fireball shots, Serb actually made a 4 pin, E$ went all Doobie Brothers and Took It To The Streets and we found a way.

Won game 2 by 2 pins.

Won game 3

Won total by 5 pins.

A 24ish point night on a night that we had very little go right. Summer mental game work pays off yet again!

Burger Streak back to 2

Testicular fortitude of the highest order.

—Story of the night was the accommodating staff at Village Bowl. Much like The Greatest Story Ever Told, there was no room at the inn when the SerbskE$ Club made their way from the locker room to the lanes.

We were prepared to sit in the Bugline bar playing slots between frames.

However, Steph saved the day by giving the ok to bring a table from the bar out onto the main walkway.

Honestly, we LOVED the setup. Plenty of room to operate. Space for many of our fans to mingle and meet-and-greet with us during the big matchup.

The NFL tried to steal our thunder by moving their Opening Night to Wednesday this season, but nothing, I REPEAT NOTHING, not even a multi billion dollar sport loved by all of America, can overshadow THE OPENING NIGHT OF THE WEDNESDAY TIPPERS BOWLING SEASON!

When we last left your favorite keglers, the SerbskE$ Club was licking their wounds from a failed championship defense. The end of the 25/26 season was a dark time for us.

It looks like the summer has renewed us:

—Iggy is determined to be more unlikable.

—Stretch has a freakin’ SerbskE$ Club tattoo on his forearm.

—We hired a sideline reporter

—While our physical bowling games maybe didn’t get quite enough attention this summer, we feel we are in tip-top shape mentally.

And that mental game work paid off in week ONE

In the Tippers scheduling system, we have always been Team 5. Meaning we always bowled week one against Team 6, which was the Rat Pack. A sacred tradition in the Tippers World.

But team numbers were redrawn this year, and as fate would have it , we are now Team 1. (Probably about time I’d say!)

So we matched up against Team 2, which happens to be a new team in the league this season, ACE Hardware.

For week one, ACE is the Place where you get your a$$ kicked by the SerbskE$ Club.

A 29-7 beatdown. Serby out of the blocks quickly with 747. Iggo right behind with 745. The summer work on our mental game paid off! Doctor slid into the reportables with 604, while Stretch and Dom hit the “other” board.

Ig wanted 3200 before the night began. A lofty week one goal.

Mission Accomplished

We’re bringing back everyone’s favorite George Webb promotion for this season. The SerbskE$ Club predicts we will win 12 games in a row. When, not if, we do, it’s free burgers for all, grilled up by Ma### right in his driveway!

The winning streak is three already. Remember the 1987 Brewers? (Kids, look it up).

It’s gonna be a great season, Nation. Get on board now!
