Cho's Martial Arts will be offering an optional open-class this Friday at 5:00 PM for any youth students who would like an extra opportunity to prepare before belt promotion/testing on Saturday, September 26th.

This class is open to all youth students who feel they would benefit from more time to practice their material, review techniques, ask questions, and build confidence before testing.

This is a great opportunity for everyone to focus on sharpening their skills, put in the extra effort, and arrive at testing prepared to give their best. We want every student to feel supported, confident, and ready to demonstrate what they have learned!

We look forward to seeing our students on Friday at 5:00 PM and cheering them on at testing the following day. 💪

To all my students, past and present:
Before I retired, I made you a promise. I told you that I would leave you with everything I know about the mechanics of the mind, the body, and the spirit. Today, I am keeping that promise.
I have officially published my new book, The Human Blueprint.
This is not just a martial arts book. It is a manual forged through nearly 60 years of physical discipline and deep emotional friction. I wrote this so that whenever you stall in life, you have the exact tools to recharge your energy and mindset, strip away the negative thoughts, and steer your life in the right direction.
The book is now available on Amazon here: https://a.co/d/02WBm9Yc

You are the future of your own life. Keep training and win from within.

"Once you receive your copy, leaving an honest review on Amazon would mean the world to me and helps other readers find the book!"

Hello, Cho’s Family!

Due to the upcoming weather conditions this Saturday, we have made the decision to postpone our Annual Potluck Picnic to a later date.

We are currently working with the Waukesha County Park Coordinator to secure a new date, which we anticipate will be a couple of weeks from now. We will announce the confirmed date as soon as everything is finalized.

The safety and enjoyment of our students and families are our top priorities. We want everyone to be able to come out, relax, enjoy great food, and spend time together without having to worry about the weather.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility. We’re looking forward to celebrating with the entire Cho’s Family soon! 🥋❤️

Stay safe, and we’ll see you at the picnic!

Congratulations to Miss Shelley, our shining Student Highlight! ⭐️

Miss Shelley has been recognized for her dedication, positive attitude, consistent effort, and support for her fellow students.

After watching her children train, Shelley decided to join them—and discovered much more than a fun way to stay active. Through martial arts, she has built confidence, made friendships, found time for herself, and has become an even stronger part of our Cho’s community.

A broken toe shortly before testing was a challenging setback, but Shelley kept showing up, adapting her training, and growing through the experience. She is now working toward her next belt test and her long-term goal of black belt!

In Shelley’s words: “It is never too late to discover a new passion, find community, or learn something new. Stay curious.”

Congratulations, Miss Shelley—thank you for setting such a wonderful example of perseverance, respect, and martial arts spirit! 필승! 💙

A Guide to Navigating Life and Conflict

"Look, you'll encounter a lot of people who look successful on the outside—wealthy status, shiny packages—but are quietly searching for substance inside. Don't let their external noise distract you, and never compare yourself to anyone. That’s just a trap for your own spirit.

In your training and in life, watch out for the trap of the hammer mentality. A lot of people learn to fight just to dominate, but that poisons your character. True mastery means learning how to fight so you never actually have to. When you stop fearing a hit, you start reading the energy of aggression before it even lands. You learn to just step out of the way and redirect the chaos.

You can't force people to change—that just triggers their ego. Instead, observe them with empathy, plant a seed of perspective, and step back. Protect your peace. If you want to bring something better to the modern noise, bring stillness to their anger, keep your power gentle like a warrior in a garden, and give people the freedom to grow at their own pace without judgment.

Remember the difference between us and machines: AI just fixes cold data, but humans have grace. We can forgive mistakes because we make them ourselves.

Never blame anyone else for where you are—take a hundred percent ownership of your life so you keep your power. When you mess up, don't punish yourself; instantly turn the mistake into gratitude and wisdom.

Life is like sailing: you don't control the wind, but you control your sails. Tune your vibration to catch the right frequency, and learn to trust that inner resonance, even when it pushes you way outside your comfort zone."
