North Hills Country Club Wisconsin . In 1928 golf architects came to what was then Fussville to view a 126 1/2 acre tract known as the Charles Fuss farm.

They considered this tract ideal to lay out an 18 hole golf course. The large wooded areas, rolling fields, and the Menomonee River meandering across the property provided scenic beauty as well as natural hazards. In October of 1929, a Board of Directors was elected and a membership roster of 350 was filled and the Menomonee Golf Club was established. In November, after five months, construction of the course was completed by Pioneer Golf and Landscape Company of Chicago. The first game of golf was played on the new North Hills Country Club Course on Sunday, July 13th, 1930. That was 80 years ago and the great tradition of golf continues on today. North Hills is a wonderful club - something our members can be proud of - and a place of recreation and relaxation for our members, our families and our friends.

With Hen of the Woods mushrooms currently in season, Chef Steven brought a little bit of what he loves outside of the kitchen into this week’s dish.

Foraging has long been a passion of Steven’s, and there's something special about taking inspiration from something that’s growing wild in the woods right now and bringing it into the NHCC kitchen for our members to enjoy. He’s incredibly proud of how this one came together and can’t wait for you to taste it! 🍄🌿
