Girls ages 6U, 8U and 9U are invited to hit the ice and give hockey a try for FREE!

📅 September 13 & 27, 2:30–4:30 p.m.
📍 Hobbs Ice Arena, Eau Claire

Come meet other girls in hockey, get on the ice and see what the game is all about.

No experience necessary, and equipment is available with pre-registration.

We want to hear from you. It's that time of year again. We are restocking the concession stand. Leave your favorite snack, candy, and/or healthy eat in the comments!

This year we will for sure be adding fresh fruits, easy grab and go proteins to fuel our little athletes. We are also looking for a good used refrigerated vending machine that we can have fresh items available when our concession stand is closed.

Looking for a fun way to introduce your daughter to hockey? Our Learn to Skate program is a great place to start.

For girls ages 4+ and all experience levels — whether she’s never been on skates or is already finding her stride.

Build confidence, make friends and have fun on the ice.

If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe hockey would be something my daughter would enjoy,” this is your sign to give it a try.

What if a girl could step onto the ice for the very first time today and, years from now, still be playing hockey with girls from her own community?

That’s the vision: a pathway for every girl.

Whether she has never played hockey, is just learning the game, or is already playing, there is a place for her to start, grow and continue right here in our community. We have options for girls to remain coed or play with all girls.

We have a number of pathways:
🟢Learn to Skate — first strides, confidence and fun

🟡Learn to Play — an introduction to hockey, team play and game basics

🔵Mites (8U) coed and 8U girls— continue developing skills and learning the game

🟠Squirt (10U) — continue to grow in the game and finding a love for the game

🟣Peewee (12U) — keep developing, competing and finding fun with competition

🔴Bantam (14U) — take your game to the next level

⚫️High School — play together, represent your community and be part of an all-girls hockey program.

As girls grow, they have opportunities to continue through Menomonie Hockey, the Chippewa Valley River Hawks Girls Co-Op, and ultimately the Chippewa Falls + Menomonie Sabers all-girls high school hockey.
