Today we took our first crack at making pasta sauces! Noah had the pleasure of canning his first ever jars! We made 3 jars of a Garden Italian blend and 3 additional jars of a Roasted Tomato blend! All ingredients came out of our garden ๐

It was a great weekend of teaching the importance of homegrown foods and how it benefits us. We also enjoyed the outdoors and getting our feet in the sand and water at the beach! I really enjoy these moments.

Nurturing these plants and watching them grow is extremely satisfying and reduces stress! There is something about having your hands in the dirt with the earth that grounds us. Something to be said about building things such as the beds and garden.
Often times, I look toward these plants as a means to relax and enjoy time away from the stressors of life. Not only do I love it but I also get to enjoy these delicious veggies and give my body the proper nutrition it deserves. Just wish my tomatoes were a little faster ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
