February throwing and hitting programs start this Tuesday, listed below you will find the link to register for all the sessions. This month we will be having Hit Club 2x a week, Throwing programs offered at multiple times and two time slots offered for the Pitching and Catching camps. Walk-ins are welcome and prices will be adjusted.

The Power Alley will be hosting a 3 day Catching Camp here in December. The camp will be instructed by Alex Toth and be focused primarily on blocking, receiving and throwing. This camp will be divided into 2 age groups listed below and cost $75 for the total 3 days. Each session will be limited to 5 participants.

Alex was a three year starting catcher at Marietta who won back to back National Championships in 2011 and 2012. During his time at Marietta, Alex was a two-time first team All-Mideast Region Selection and earned Second team All-American as a senior. Following his playing career, Alex served as the Assistant Coach at Denison University before moving back to Northeast Ohio to continue coaching in our program. He brings a lot of valuable information and is a great resource for your son who may be aspiring to develop in this catching specific position.

The Power Alley will be hosting Fastpitch Clinics starting June 5th
Sessions will take place every Monday and Wednesday
• These hour sessions will be at 2-3pm or 3-4pm
• Areas of Focus: Pitching, Hitting and Fielding
Cost:
• $25 per session
• Packages include: $40 for 2 sessions or $150 for the month

We are pleased to announce that Rebecca Dyer has joined the staff here at The Power Alley. Becca is currently the Head Softball Coach at Lake Erie College and will lead the softball development program here at TPA. Here is a little more about her:

Rebecca Dyer became the Head Coach at Lake Erie College in December, 2016 after having served as an assistant coach for the program from 2014-2016 where she earned her Masters in Education.

As her first year as head coach, the Lake Erie softball program had their best team batting average in school history, as well as the highest fielding percentage in the conference. These statistics earned six players a spot on the All-GLIAC team for the 2017 season, the highest amount of awards the softball program has ever received in a season.

As a college student-athlete at Denison University, Becca was a member of the 2004-2014 All-Decade Team as a pitcher. She was a two time NCAC Pitcher of the Year, earning her a spot on the All-Region team in 2014. Dyer is the all-time leader at Denison with 23 career shutouts, 487 strikeouts, 53 complete games, 2 perfect games, and an opponent batting average of .193.
