Yesterday’s project. Still need to make a frame for it. It’s far from perfect, but I’m not completely disappointed with it for my first attempt at feather art. Definitely a lot of room for improvement, but I went into it with no real plan—just eyeballing and figuring it out as I went.
I can definitely see why these pieces cost as much as they do once you get good at it. It’s incredibly tedious and time-consuming. You literally touch every feather a minimum of three times. Definitely a learning experience, but I’m looking forward to trying it again and improving on the next one.
