Our Hurricanes broke open their 2026/2027 seasons in our usual fashion... supporting
Together, they raised $9,667 for both local & national breast cancer research and charities.

8u ‘lil Canes took 2nd place in the 8u open division
10u Connell place 4th in the 10uC division
10u Wiz finished 1st the 10u Open division

While we are so proud of their performance on the field, we are even more proud of their commitment to honoring HGSA & the Hurricanes roots with Pink. We are 21 years strong in our partnership towards the common goal of fighting breast cancer through softball 🎀🥎

WELCOME TO THE HURRICANES! 🥎❤️💙

Congratulations to the 12 athletes who earned their spots on the 8U Hurricanes 2026–2027 roster!

For many of these girls, they’ve spent years watching from the sidelines, cheering on older sisters, friends and dreaming about when it would finally be their turn.

Well, their turn is here. ❤️

Now they get to step onto the field, wear Hurricanes across their chest and begin creating a story of their own.

We’re so excited to watch these girls grow together, compete together, build friendships and discover just how much they’re capable of.

Congratulations, girls. The next generation of Hurricanes starts with YOU. 🌀🥎

🚨 10U HURRICANES CONNELL HAS ONE SPOT LEFT! 🚨

Our roster is almost complete but we’re still looking for ONE more player to round out this group.

We’re looking for an athlete who’s ready to work hard, compete, develop and become part of the Hurricanes family.

🥎 Catcher preferred but NOT required.
🥎 All positions will be considered.

Sometimes the right player is all it takes to complete the puzzle. Maybe that player is YOU.

💙🥎 FROM HGSA FIELDS TO THE IVY LEAGUE! 🥎💙

We couldn’t be prouder to recognize HGSA alum Kristin “Z” Hallam, who has turned her lifelong love of softball into an incredible coaching career at the University of Pennsylvania!

Kristin credits her time at HGSA with helping build the foundation, friendships, and love for the game that still drive her today. And now, she’s giving that same passion back to the next generation of athletes.

Once an HGSA girl, always an HGSA girl. 💙🥎

We are so proud to call you one of our own, Kristin! Keep making HGSA proud!
