I’ve shared bits and pieces about my hair loss over the last few months, but I haven’t really shared what I’m doing about it.
Earlier this year I went through a pretty intense H. pylori treatment, and not long after that I started losing a LOT of hair. At first I tried not to panic because I knew my body had been through a lot and hair shedding can be a delayed response to physical stress. But when it kept going month after month, it was hard not to worry about how much I was losing.
Thankfully, the shedding finally seems to be slowing down. 🙌 I’m also at a point where I feel like my digestion, energy, sleep and overall health have recovered really well, so now I’m focusing a little more intentionally on supporting my hair.
I decided to take a three-part approach: supporting my body internally, adding some more targeted support, and using something topically to support my scalp and hair follicles.
I’m still very much in the experiment phase, and hair grows WAY too slowly for me to tell you that any one of these things is responsible for what I’m seeing. 😂 But I’m going to stick with the plan, take pictures along the way, and share updates on what I notice over the next few months.
If you’re curious about the three things I’m using, comment HAIR and I’ll send you the details.
