Golden Spikes Baseball Club

Golden Spikes 7U based out of Meridian is looking to add 2-3 players.
Players can’t turn 8 before May 1 or they must be in 1st grade if they do.
We will be at Phil Hardin Park Thursday at 6:00 and Sunday at 2. If you’re interested come see us!

The Golden Spikes will be holding a tryout for a 7U team to play the 2024-2025 season.
Players can’t turn 8 before May 1st 2025. If they do, they can still play but must be in 1st grade.
There will be very minimal cost involved due to the expenses being covered by other sources.
Tryout will be July 7th at 2:00 at one of the local parks in Meridian. That will be announced closer to time.
There will be no more than 3 fall events and will be 6-8 events in the spring.
If you are, or know someone, interested in having your player developed on a higher level, come join us on the 7th.

The Golden Spikes 2024 Showcase team is in need of a catcher for the summer for 4 events. This player will need a skill set that is able to catch velocities up to 90 mph. Player must be in the class of 2024 or class of 2023 with a birthday that allows them to play in the 16U division.

If you are looking for an affordable, simple, yet very productive league for this fall, then we have got what you are looking for.

Cost - $400 - No upfront payment & payment can be split

12 man roster to insure plenty of reps. -

October 2/3 - Jones College & MS Gulf Coast CC
October 9/10 - Southwest MS CC
October 23/24 - Meridian CC & East Central CC
(Schedule is tentative -Dates and/or locations could change)

Two teams - Class of 2025/2024 & Class of 2023/2022

No Practice

Jersey & Hat provided

Objective - Get quality reps to prepare further for HS season & also be evaluated by GS Showcase coaches for an opportunity to play with our Summer Showcase Teams.
