Our adult dancers remind us that it’s never too late to pursue a passion, embrace creativity, and find joy through movement. They inspire us with their dedication, perseverance, and willingness to keep learning, proving that dance truly is for every age and every stage of life.

To our extraordinary teachers, thank you for sharing your talent, patience, encouragement, and heart. You nurture confidence, ignite passion, and create a welcoming space where dancers of all ages can grow, challenge themselves, and belong.

Mrs. T started this studio when her daughter and son were young; setting the stage and bringing excellence in dance education to the NW Indiana region for almost 50 years! 💐

To this day, Mrs. T and Miss Amanda continue to work side-by-side, along with their fabulously talented teachers…inspiring and loving NW Indiana youth dancers towards their futures, and enjoying working with wonderful adults and professional dancers throughout the years. ✨

To our IBT dance families and community:
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear IBT family member, Christina Gulbrandsen.

Christina was the beloved wife of Jarrett and the loving mother of Ezra, Liam, and Delilah, who have danced at IBT for many years. Their family has been a cherished part of the Indiana Ballet Theatre family and an incredible part of our organization, volunteering and performing with IBT since The Nutcracker in 2021. Together, the Gulbrandsen family has shared countless hours serving, performing, and supporting IBT and our dancers. And we are here to support them, today.

Christina was a dedicated volunteer, our beloved usher extraordinaire at countless productions, and a good friend to so many within our dance family. Whether she was greeting our audience members with a warm smile, lending a helping hand behind the scenes, or cheering on our dancers, Christina's kindness, generosity, wit, groundedness, and heart touched everyone around her. She gave so much of herself to her children, family, community, and to IBT, and her presence will be deeply missed.

During this incredibly difficult time, our hearts are with Jarrett, Ezra, Liam, Delilah, and all who loved Christina. We pray they find strength, comfort, and peace in the love that surrounds them.

As an IBT family, we would like to come together to honor Christina's memory and show our love and support for her family. IBT will be fundraising and sending a (plantable, living) floral arrangement and support, on behalf of the entire IBT Family.

If you would like to contribute toward the flowers and funds to support the Gulbrandsen family, we would be grateful for a donation of any amount. Any funds received beyond the cost of the arrangement will be given directly to the Gulbrandsen family. Together, we can let them know they are embraced by their IBT dance family.
