Jakyi “Kyi Kyi” Miles has officially set a new Mesa single-season record for most field goals. One of the best in the nation, and he’s just getting started. The future is bright in Jackrabbit Nation.
As we get ready to say goodbye to 2025, it’s impossible not to feel the pride that comes with one of the most unforgettable years in Mesa High School history. We celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025 and achieved the highest graduation rate our school has ever seen, a milestone built on perseverance, belief, and hard work. Our campus was alive with championship energy as multiple teams battled their way to the Final Four, and our boys basketball program made a historic run to the state championship finals, uniting Jackrabbit Nation every step of the way. We watched student-athletes sign to compete as Division I commits, dreams realized after years of dedication. Academically, Mesa reached new heights by earning an A letter grade for the first time ever, while our award-winning performing arts programs continued to inspire and elevate our community. Every moment, every achievement, and every memory from this year tells the story of a school on the rise. As we turn the page to 2026, the momentum is real, the standard is set, and the future has never looked brighter for Jackrabbit Nation. 💜

Today, Valu made it official — signing to continue her rugby career at Dartmouth. This is a massive accomplishment and a testament to her grit, talent, and work ethic. Mesa High is incredibly proud to see her take her game to the Ivy League and represent the Jackrabbits on one of the biggest stages. 💜🐰💚
