Rio Salado Clay Target Range

Last weekend Pinnacle SS had its season opener at the Rio Salado Sportsmans Club in Mesa AZ. Great turnout from our shooting community with great weather as a bonus. Congrats to Josh O'Hara for an incredible 100 straight. People always ask about what score I set the course for, and to be transparent, I don't set for score. I set for safe, fun & fair. Safe to make sure everyone goes home in the same condition. Fun to test all levels of shooters. Finally fair, to make sure if you are 10 years old or 85 years old you have a fair chance to break a target. The rest of the equation is pretty simple. Bring your "A" game and stay focused for 2 1/2 hours. GREAT JOB JOSH! Next up is the second shoot in our Valley of the Sun Championship Series. The 2025 Winter Nationals. Come join us for the Canyon State Challenge which is the last Pinnacle Shoot at Ben Avery until October 2022. 100 target main kicks off at 9 am to qualify for the 16 shooter bracket. The bracket will consist of HOA, RU and 1st & 2nd in all NSCA classes (M-E). All shoot-off pairings will be random. The top 8 shooters will walk off with $1125. in prize money (see flyer). Next up for Pinnacle Shooting Sports, the "Last Chance 2021" shoot to be held at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center on December 18th. What's better then February in Arizona ? Registration for the Southwest Super Sporting Championship is now open on www.ScoreChaser.com. The Main Event, Prelim and all Sub-Gauge events will be in the Super Sporting format. In between you get to shoot a 50 target FITASC event and two 50 target 5-stand events to round out the shoot program. Hope to see all of our shooter family here while making some new friends along the way.

Getting ready for the 2022 Sonoran 600 in sunny Arizona. Good time to get out of those cold climates up north and come see us in Phoenix & Tucson. 6 separate events so you can shoot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6. 300 targets in Tucson on Saturday, 300 targets in Phoenix on Sunday. Pinnacle Shooting Sports would like to thank all of the shooters that came out to Rio Salado yesterday to kick off the winter season back in beautiful Arizona. Hats off to Jim Bellows who took HOA honors with a 96/100 followed closely by Chris Parsons with a 95/100. Some great scores in all classes !!

Next up for Pinnacle Shooting Sports is "Scott & Terry's Excellent Adventure" in Globe Arizona next weekend, October 16-17 (flyer attached). Some quick reminders for this shoot. The range has limited if any connectivity, so all entry fees will need to be cash or check. I shared that this will be the last sporting clays shoot in Globe, and therefore we are having a little "shindig" on Saturday afternoon when the shooting is over. Food, water, soda and adult beverages will be there as a thank you for those folks who make the trip.

Also, as this is the last shoot, we are kicking in some added money and class prizes (ammo) for those shooters that shoot both Saturday & Sunday. Combined score for both days is required to be eligible ... Weather is looking to be sunny & 75 degrees so you don't want to miss shooting in the canyon this one last time. Hope to see you there !!
