Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. Rhythm, timing, and agility will be a focal point during this class, as well as building increased coordination. Exercises build flexibility of the knees and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class will emphasize the development of proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun! As students progress through each level, curriculum becomes increasingly more complex and intricate. Try your first class free!

Each recital, RMDC Staff vote on the dancer who has consistently demonstrated kindness, hard work, and the positive attitude that defines what a role model at RMDC envelopes. Each time, the decision is so difficult as we are so proud of all of our dancers each and every day! This summer recital, Lena Hanson was announced our winner of the Recital Scholarship! We are so proud of her and have loved cheering her on in every part of her journey! Way to go, Lena!

Summer Dance is about to begin! We offer 3 levels of Combo dance for our youngest artists! Space is limited! Sign up today!
COMBO LEVEL 1
Ages 3-5 years old
This introductory class is for children ages 3-5 who are able to complete class independent from a parent or guardian. It combines tap, ballet, creative movement, and tumbling. Children learn the basics of dance through the use of dancing at the barre, across the floor, and in the center of the room.
At the end of each month, there is a 'Parent Showcase' in each class to highlight some of the things the kids have learned in class.
COMBO LEVEL 2
Ages 5-7 years old
This advanced combo class is for children who are 5-7 years old dancing for the first time or for Combo 1 children who have been recommended by a teacher to register for this class. In this faster-paced combo class, children build on previously taught basic dance techniques in tap, ballet, and creative movement.
At the end of each month, there is a 'Parent Showcase' in each class to highlight some of the things the kids have learned in class.
COMBO LEVEL 3
Ages 7-9 years old
Level 3 Combo brings the imaginative fun into our older dance classes in a structured way! This class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long and further expands into the curriculum Level 1 & 2 Combo dancers have worked on including the Al Gilbert Tap Technique (Level 2 & 3), Dorothy Vose Ballet Technique (Level 1), and the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus (Level Primary-Level 2)
These dancers will also enjoy the continued benefits of the monthly Parent Showcases!
