π£ Applications are now open for the Jim Stone Rising Coaches Fellowship β Arizona Region.
π The Arizona Region has five spots available for coaches to participate in year one of this national leadership and development program.
Do you know a coach with passion, potential, and a commitment to growing in the profession? Please consider nominating them β or coaches may self-nominate.
In partnership with The Art of Coaching Volleyball, Junior Volleyball Association (JVA), and the Regions of USA Volleyball, this yearlong fellowship is designed to identify, develop, and support emerging volleyball leaders.
Selected fellows receive:
β’ Monthly online learning sessions (live + recorded)
β’ Independent development modules
β’ Access to an online coaching community
β’ Feedback and mentorship opportunities
β’ Free AOC Volleyball Premium Membership
β’ Coach certification
β’ Access to a virtual AOC clinic
The fellowship is completely free and designed to fit around busy coaching and work schedules.

π The Arizona Region of USA Volleyball was well represented at the 2026 USA Volleyball Hall of Fame celebration held May 20th at the DoubleTree Orlando Theme Park Resort by Hilton in Florida.
π The annual event honored some of the sportβs most accomplished athletes, coaches, officials, and leaders whose impact helped shape volleyball in the United States. USA Volleyballβs Hall of Fame recognizes individuals for outstanding achievement, leadership, and contributions to the growth of the game at every level.
π Arizona Region Commissioner Harold Cranswick sent in photos from the Hall of Fame banquet and the Orlando Convention Center where Nationals are taking place! Thanks, Harold!

The Arizona Region crowned its newest volleyball royalty on Sunday, May 17, at Glendale Community College as S.W.A.T. captured the Adult Regionals championship, winning all four of their matches on the day.
Atomic A.F. finished second with a strong 3-1 performance, while Low Expectations showed anything but, earning the bronze medal and third place honors.
Congratulations to all the teams who competed in the Arizona Region Adult program this season. Thank you for bringing not only a high level of volleyball, but also outstanding sportsmanship, camaraderie, and positivity to every tournament Sunday.
Thank you, ladies, from the Arizona Region. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the court next season!
